I've just begun to get into hike and fly myself, and I have already been backpacking and backcountry snowboarding, so I already am in shape, and equipped. After watching your other videos, and now this, I'm convinced! Jocky Sanderson is the paraglider pilot with the biggest balls of them all! And well rounded, diverse balls. You cover every aspect of paragliding better than anyone. You are an inspiration, and you have no need to brag.
quite nice... I am always impressed with the details, planning, risk management and all the stuff that you do to make this flight looks so simple and easy.... lol... congrats mate...
Splendid documentary and excellent production all together. I was feeling the tension as you were scraping the treetops, though you never let it show. Well done the both of you. :)
This is so awesome looks heavenly bro....I live in the UK for years I been interested in para gliding x country....also hangliding and power para motoring I follow numerous channels I would do all of it but at moment the money situation could be better it's always the case with me there tons of things that are my hobby but struggle to do things I love I won't go into detailvi just want to comment of how awesomebit looks u bet it feels even more good when your up there at one with wind air and nature this must lower blood pressure surely obv if your not in bad situations etc....I was looking into how much scout para motors cost last year and I was watching all the adverse for ozone reflex wings I love the sport its even more amazing with out the motor as you need skill to stay up n go x country as in reading signs the did clouds give and avoiding ROTORS at all cost see told you I in to it and have learned a little bit all ready.....I forgot to mention power hang glider as well I like what they call the mosquitoe as your still laying down in hanglider natural position I do not like the look of the ones where you sit on the bar that to me looks feels scary as I am not great with heights etc....stay blessed my friend and thank you for making this great video it has encouraged me even more PEACE bro....
Jocky i only just saw this by chance and it brought back happy memories of when you taught me to fly nearly 31 years ago. We started on Jenkin hill on the day the Strangeways Prison riot began (01/04/90) and by the end of the riot, I had gone past ‘student pilot’ band maybe had reached ‘club’. Happy Days keep flying. Absolutely amazing footage, what an incredible thing to be doing. I have just booked my EP in spain (mostly for more predictable weather) but 100% I will be flying in the Lakes so will definitely want local knowledge and further tuition with the Lakes being ~3hrs and Snowdonia ~2.75hrs from Birmingham. I had no idea the UK was so good for flying, I thought it was only good in the Alps etc beyond top to bottom hike and fly. How many times per year can you get conditions so good? PS what's in the hip flask?
Perfectly planed and executed.
You are my mentor. Always thank you :)
Amazing vid
My goodness Jocky, hiking that ozone flour bag masquerading as a backpack. I am impressed.

Really enjoyed that Jocky. Takes me back to when you ran the SIV back in 2016 ( Giles)
Great Vid Jock!
Thanks for share'n!
Thanks! More of that please!
You got it!
Great video! I thought I had recognized your face. You did an SIV lecture a while back. It was a video that I had seen on RUclips.
I think a large percentage of us left-of-the-pond pilots learned of Jocky from Andre's video of that lecture. :)

Glad you enjoyed it!

Hi, is this the spot where tandem flyers start as well? Thinking of purchasing your service. Cheers.
Hi, you can fly tandem from the fells in the lakes. What service do you want?
