Pokrali glasove Breskvici. A njena pesma govori o Kosovu. Zabranjena je, od koga , od Bila. Pa ni čudo ona kobila Olivera Kovačević , sve je to deo njene igre!!!

The rock on which the singer is lying at the beginning of the video represents the island of Corfu in Greece, where Serbian soldiers recovered in the First World War, after retreating across Albania. We call the sea around the island of Krv the Blue Tomb, because many soldiers who died are buried there. In Serbia, the Ramonda flower is a symbol of rebirth and rising from the ashes. The people have gone through and are going through many misfortunes and sufferings, but they always hope that everything will be fine. This song is dedicated to all those who sacrificed themselves for the benefit of new generations.Salute.

In the First World War, Serbia lost about 30% of its population, 60% of its male population. The figure is around 1,200,000 inhabitants who lost their lives. This is perhaps the highest percentage that a country lost in that war. Ramonda is an endemic species and has 3 subspecies. One grows on the Iberian island and in Serbia there is Ramonda Serbica and Natalija's ramonda, which was named after the Serbian queen. Both species are endangered and are protected by law. Natalija's ramonda is also known as the phoenix because it can to dry completely and to revive again when the conditions are favorable. In the First World War, Natalija's ramonda was taken as a symbol of Armistice Day and as a symbol of Serbian suffering in that war, as a new beginning, as a phoenix. The song follows these two stories. It tells where the purple Ramonde disappeared, as a metaphor for the suffering that Serbia suffered. During the performance, purple luminous dots appear on the LED screens that rise and rise. They represent the souls of Serbian soldiers who died defending their country and which go to heaven. At the end of the words, a purple ramonda rises from the ashes. That verse represents the aspiration for a better tomorrow, for the end of war, for the end of suffering, for peace..
    Blue tomb.
In one part of the song, he says, everything is quiet under the sea. When the Serbian army retreated through Albania to the Greek island of Vido, many soldiers died of disease and hunger. It is estimated that around 5,000 people died then and were thrown into the Ionian Sea for eternal rest. Since then, that place has been called the blue tomb.

Ramonda became a symbol of resilience and survival during the Albanian Golgotha, when Serbian military units had to retreat across the Albanian mountains in winter conditions. The plant was found along those difficult routes, symbolizing hope and perseverance in challenging times. Therefore, for many people in Serbia, ramonda represents a symbol of courage and resilience during difficult times in the country's history. (WW1)🪻🪻🪻

Thank you for spreading the purple magic for me, my friend!💜🪻✨️Being half Croatian, I can understand the lyrics instantly and not even God knows how hard it is hitting me every time I listen to this seductively melancholic masterpiece - a song that is carrying the spirit of an entire nation, but at the same time so international because each and every soul can connect to it. Serbia's national flower becoming magical music and healing people all over the world, what could be more beautiful? This has so much depth, sincerity and enchantment to offer, it's not the typical pop song you'll hear on the radio, and I definitely found my Eurovision 2024 winner and art that will accompany me for all my life.💜🪻
This purple dream is Eurovision winning material - not only because a ballad will absolutely stand out at Eurovision this year, but also because it represents the spirit of its country in a way that makes me shiver in front of this mesmerizing beauty!💜🪻🇷🇸 Even if we don't look at borders and nations, "Ramonda" is a haunting mélange of velvety melancholia, spectral grace and deepest emotions! And there couldn't be a more suitable voice to share this multi-layered message with the entire world: Teya Dora is not only a heartwarming human being and exceptionally gifted artist, but has the ability to seduce the masses with a voice out of this world. Vocals and songs don't always need to be loud and sharp to cast a spell over the universe, and in this case a dark lullaby is predestined to make this world a better place. Ramonda only needs one drop of water to rise from the dead - and if we look at the current state of our world, a sweet masterpiece like this has never been more necessary than now. Like the flower itself, "Ramonda" grows and grows and grows with every single listen, its putting me in a trance at night and day, and I'm already sure that Teya's magic will heal all the suffering in the world in May. This entry fulfills me on the deepest possible level and it speaks to my soul as if it was born within me!💜🪻✨️🌙

Ko god postuje nasu zemlju nece pljuvati ovu pesmu. Koja opisuje stradanje, nadu i uzdizanje jednog naroda. Ako vam se ne svidja ne slusajte. Al niste Srbi ni patriote ako pljujete pesmu posvecenu onima koji su dali zivote za nasu slobodu.

Teya´s song Ramonda" was named after the "Ramonda serbica" flower, which is mainly found in Serbia and the surrounding regions. This flower, which was discovered by a Serbian scientist in 1884, has an extraordinary ability to revive even after drying completely, which is why it got the nickname "phoenix flower". Similarly, Natalina ramonda, a close relative of the same genus, is known in Serbia as "Natalia's ramonda" after Queen Natalija Obrenović. It became a symbol of victory in the First World War, representing Serbia's resilience after losing almost a third of its population.

    Natalia's Ramonda
This endangered plant grows in the east of Serbia and on Mount Kajmakčalan, where the Serbian army under the command of Duke Živojin Mišić fought fiercely against the Bulgarian forces during the preparation of the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki front, the prelude to the liberation of Serbia in the First World War.
Natalija ramonda is also called the "phoenix flower" because, when the dry period comes, it lies dormant and dries up, only to turn green again with the first rain.
In Serbia, it is worn as an emblem on the lapel during Armistice Day in the First World War and reminds us Serbs of the of sacrifice we made as a nation.

Apart from the ww1 meaning for her is the sudden loss of her father a while ago. So the song is a complete journey from mourning in silence, desperation to building up, going back down and eventually her one and only ramodna sprouts (phoenics flower that comes back from death with 2 drops of water). So it's her feelings over a 1 year period packed into 3 minutes and we definitely felt that

    RAMONDA 🌸
" There's no, there's no peace for me
    Restless, sleepless with no dreams
Night forbids the dawn to come
    Hardest for the lonesome
    Underwater, silent and bound
    I scream but i can't make a sound
Above the hills there is a light
But with no end in sight
Only wounded can walk this path
There's no guide to take me far
Into brightnes of the Morning star
    World in flames
    Flowers burned away
    Where've they gone from us?
    Lilac Ramondas
    Lilac Ramonda x8
There's no guide to take on me
The stars are gone, they fell asleep
    Even prayers wouldn't console me
    Where've they gone from us?
    Lilac Radmondas
    Lilac Ramonda x8
    From the ashes rising high...
    Just one Lilac Ramonda. "

While 'Ramonda' is rooted in the experiences of the Serbian nation, its themes extend far beyond geographical borders.
However, It speaks about the resilience of the spirit this glorifying Serbian nation have had for centuries. Not to be narrow-minded, the song also speaks to the universal human experience of facing trials and tribulations.
The message of symbolic Ramonda Serbica is rising from the depths of despair which resonates with all who have faced adversity, reminding us that even in our darkest moments, we have the strength within us to overcome. Let this song be a beacon of hope and inspiration for humankind, urging us to embrace our ability to rise again, no matter the challenges we face. Truly, it's a testament to the unbreakable soulfulness of mankind.💠🌙✨️☁️

I would like to see lost Breskvica fans here what they have to say about A BUNCH of foreign people that ACTUALLY care about music, and really like Ramonda. I can bet my life that majority of them would stay completely flat about Breskvica's entry (I forgot the name of the song lol, as I don't really like it). Remember, it's not what Serbians like the most, it's what Europe will like the most. Sadly, Breskvica took most votes from the public, but luckily sane jury saved the day. Call me how you want, but Teya Dora deserves this, and has muc more chance to succeed in ESC.
    Cheers from Serbia!

This comment made my day!💜😂 Thank you! I'm also very tired of all the conspiracy theories and the relentless attacks against Teya Dora, just because some blinded people cannot accept the rules and the results. I mean, if an artist enters a competition, they know what the rules are like beforehand, right? So why to complain about results afterwards? This is beyond illogical and pointless.😒
And yes, I already know many many people from all sorts of countries who absolutely LOVE "Ramonda" and Teya Dora's voice - simply because the song has international appeal and is pretty universal in its beauty, and Breskvica is a more "local" phenomenon I would say. Moreover, ethnic entries have not been doing that well at Eurovision in recent years. So "Ramonda" has the best potential to shine, which will happen in May!💜🪻✨️

Thank you for the lovely reaction. 😊
"Ramonda" gives me so many goosebumps every time I experience this magic! Everything about it is beautiful, just like the flower itself. 🌸 It is haunting and delicate yet powerfully expressive, like a lullaby but with a sense of longing. 🖤 Teodora has a voice that seems to speak straight to the soul, and it exudes a feeling of resilience through times of darkness. 🕯️ Taking inspiration from the beauty and resilience of nature, and sharing a message of hope, this wonder should definitely be a winner at Eurovision, and it will inspire people all over the world! 💚💜

Thank you for the video! ❤ Please google what Ramonda nathalie is, what does it represent for Serbian people, how our solders suffered during retreat through Albania in winter, trying to reach Greece coast and survive! And when all hopes were lost…Help arrived and we broke through the front so violently that it was the beginning of the end of the First World War. At the same tome it is symbol for every our battle we have inside, when all hope is gone, God is there, and life will blossom at the end 🌱

For those who (perhaps) don't know, the ramonda is our endemic flower species (Ramonda Serbica) and a symbol of the suffering of the Serbs in World War I against Austria-Hungary, i.e. Armistice Day (November 11, 1918) and the final victory. Ramonda is a symbol of Serbia, victory, rebirth and eternity. It is also called the phoenix flower, because it is specific in that it can dry up, and only one drop of water is enough to revive it completely. It was discovered by Josif Pancic in 1874, on Mount Rtanj, near Sokobanja. The song of Teye Dora has strong symbolism, good music with traditional (Byzantine and Serbian) elements, arrangement and text, and in the text I especially like the (Serbian) motifs of the star Danica and Ramonda, as well as the beginning, whose rhythmicity and parallelism are very they remind us of our folk (oral) literature. Not to mention her voice. PS. Armistice Day is a non-working day in Serbia, and it is also celebrated in Great Britain, Belgium, New Zealand and France, while it is "Remembrance Day" in the countries of the British Commonwealth, and "Veterans Day" in the USA.

    - - The song "Ramonda" by Teya takes its name from the "Ramonda serbica" flower, which is found mainly in Serbia and nearby regions. This flower, discovered by a Serbian scientist in 1884, has a remarkable ability to revive even after completely drying out, earning it the nickname "the phoenix flower." Similarly, Natalie's Ramonda, a close relative of the same genus, is known in Serbia as "Natalijina ramonda" after Queen Natalija Obrenović. It became a symbol of victory in World War I, representing Serbia's resilience after losing nearly a third of its population.
    - The song explores themes of loneliness and the resilience to bounce back from adversity, mirroring the Ramonda flower's ability to revive with just a drop of water. The official video clip includes a quote from the Gospel of John, emphasising the enduring power of light over darkness.
    - The island featured in the video represents Corfu, Greece, where Serbian soldiers found refuge during World War I after facing dire circumstances. Greece provided Serbia with essential support, although many perished upon arrival and were laid to rest at sea. This aspect of the song serves as a poignant tribute to ancestors who overcame overwhelming odds.
