There are few islands in Europe with such an extensive railway.
It looks narrrow guage (correct me if I'm wrong).
I think worth visiting the island, even just for the railway experience.

Brilliant place for chasing old trains and new...summer is more busy for tourist trains in Sardinia with some steam.
