I think the Bottega is more of a trend piece for the younger generation, I agree it’s not the most obvious bag designer for us otherwise. I think your bag collection otherwise is very classic and timeless...this one I think not so much, sorry! x

Despite how depressing the disposable masks and packaging are at least many of us are reducing our carbon foot prints right now by travelling less and shopping more locally. These things have a huge impact so we can find hope in that!
What’s the point of wearing a mask on your chin when you’re speaking with someone else at such a close proximity. I know it’s difficult to communicate with a mask on sometimes but you’re just defeating the point of wearing a mask by not doing it properly!

Muneera the point of wearing the mask whether you like it or not is to keep Covid-19 from spreading. It may not be the end all solution but when everyone uses masks properly, we can then help slow the spread.
@@malinday75 Whether you like it or not, masks dont prevent covid from spreading. ESPECIALLY the reusable cloth ones. It can enter through your eyes. Why are you so concerned about the disease spreading if the survival rate is 99.99999%? Do your research and stop judging others.

Muneera I know, that’s the reason I wrote “try to learn”. The internet is full of resources. Also, I don’t know about the UK but in my country the tv is full of demonstrations and tutorials. I am aware that it’s impossible to behave like a profesional when your not. Healthcare workers, experts and institutions don’t expect everyone to become a perfect user overnight. It’s only the basics that everyone should make an effort to learn. Learning how to put it on, take it off and not touching the mask is more about the wearer safety. I feel like everyone would like to protect themselves as best as they are able to, including Amelia. That’s why I posted my comment.

starlite 77 try a different material. Silk are really good and breathable. The cotton ones can feel restricting. You should be able to find something you’re comfortable with 🤞🏻
I’m a healthcare worker, we have to wear them all day everyday. It’s worth it for your safety and the safety of others

That’s so nice that places are walkable. That’s one thing I loved about Europe and the UK. In the US everything is so spread out that you almost have to drive everywhere (unless you’re downtown).

Came on here just to see if anyone had commented about it because I thought I had got it wrong and I could get my eyebrows done but we can't (until 15th Aug or longer depending on how it goes with lockdown release) and my eyebrows are growing into my hair now. Shame we can't get it done still and yes probably shouldn't advertise it @Amelia :)

Our bodies are our barometers, stress can be looked at as a form of the body feeling excitement, I know it’s a different way of looking at it. If you put it into perspective, fear and stress go together in a feeling of loss of control in the context of it, our bodies go into fight or flight even with excitement of the what if’s, let yourself feel those emotions, and do something that completely relaxes you after you’ve gone through the emotions. By the way, your ear piercings are beautiful. I absolutely love the bag, I have been eyeballing that bag myself and I think it’s an all seasons bag, hope that you choose to keep it! If I get really stressed I break out in hives. Not sure if that’s what’s going on with you. But they come up really fast and they throb. Then they go away. I’ve had that since I was a child. It only happens when I’m stressed 😩

I'm very surprised that a professional piercer would do so many piercings in one day... It's usually not recommended to get more than 3 in one sitting
Why? Clinically, i would think that as long as piercings are properly looked after there should be no issue.
Also getting pierced on both sides at once...good luck sleeping!
I just wrote a similar comment. I tried to have more in some tattoos shops. None of them agreed to do more than 3. There is a risk of infection even if you clean the area very well or have done piercings before. You never know.. she also keep touching the piercings area which it is no a good thing
The bag looks quite childish...like a fake plastic bag you would give a little girl to put her fake makeup in....sorry. You carry such beautiful bags..thats just not it.

The bag is a no from me! But I just don’t like Bottega bags. The clutch bags look like rolled up nappies and the black one you mentioned looks like a dog poo bag!! So no, I personally don’t like any Bottega bag as I just don’t like their design aesthetic.
I get your point that ecologically disposable mask should be avoided but safety wise do not reuse them! Masks should be worn once then washed and the disposable ones must not be reused

PSA if you’re in a store, please keep your mask on. If you’re outside then yes take it off if you’re not around others. But if you’re in a store or a crowded street then please wear it properly.
Up until a few years ago Bottega bags were mumsy. But in the last three years they have had a style revolution and are clearly aiming at a much younger demographic. They are also becoming more daring and going away from the tried and true classics in favour of bags that are more interesting and unusual that can be the focal point of your outfit. The bag you have chosen is a case in point. The whole vibe of the bag is young, fun and fashion forward. I say get that bag and wear it to death! Its your colour!
Amelia, I've had all those piercings and they healed no problem. I suggest getting a travel pillow and sleeping on that when you're on your side. Clean it twice a day with saline spray. And do not touch them at all!!! That's always a recipe for disaster xx
If you have gotten those for years when you’re stressed and it’s only when you’re stressed , it may be stress hives. I get them in really stressful, anxiety inducing situations.
I know you've got loads of comments about this but just to reinforce - please stop touching your mask and taking it off inside! The front of the mask is contaminated and touching it means your hands are then contaminated. Your neck is also contaminated, and wearing your mask around your neck contaminates the inside, so when you put it back on you're breathing in everything from the outside air. What's the point in wearing it if you're not going to do it properly? Everyone can hear you totally fine without taking it off, and as it is compulsory to wear them in shops, taking them off is frankly stupid
Stress tip for in the moment, start laughing outloud, like force yourself to start laughing outloud and it might even make you laugh for real lol do it for like 30secs to a min or as long as you want really and have fun haha its really good at making your body relax instantly and your mind will follow :) I know this is only for when you're kind of alone though

I’m not a fan of the bag, I agree with you it looks very mom like 😳 and it also looks stiff 😣 overall not a big fan. The high waisted bikinis are gorgeous, they’re perfect for girls like us that don’t feel very confortable with a normal bikini 👙🥰

Bottega is destroying the classic brand image that it has always had. is releasing new models every two weeks, like it's ZARA or H&M! the market is saturated with his creations, they are seen everywhere, we do not have time to decide and when you buy something, in a month it is already out of fashion, because there are more updated models of the same product, either bag or sandal .. I don't know what they're doing! It's like fast fashion at a gold price. I think it's a joke. I would invest in something more timeless, and more with your style.
I always get those stress lumps too! Almost always under my left eye. Had one at my wedding, had one for my masters degree graduation, had one when my newborn was keeping me up all night!
I think its definitely a trend piece, but what i think makes some one truly have good style is being able to by trend pieces and incorporate it long term. Nothings 'trendy' if it matches your style!
Love the piercings! It's crazy that the garland snapped, especially during a hug (which is something so normal), the price of the jewellery you wouldn't expect it to break so easily. However, it is great they fixed it. X

Amelia- I get those lumps too! It’s the weirdest thing, one moment you are normal and the next you have this almost itchy hive like cyst pulsing and 4 hours later is disappears. The minute I get the tingle I pop some differin gel on it and that usually works to zap it pretty quickly.

What would be the point in bringing a used disposable mask ? .... they are disposable for a reason they cannot be washed and if you can’t wash it you can’t resuse it ... is it any wonder Covid spreads so fast? By stressing about whatever you are stressing about, it probably makes it worse. Lean into the moment, recognize it as stress, and allow the thought/moment to pass!

Hi!! With that tan spray thing I worry that the mist will settle into my carpet or furniture and make it stain. Have noticed that on your carpet or furniture or I am just being paranoid since it doesn't stain your clothes. thanks
It won't it is literally really fine then you rub it in (I have it and tried it, it's the best tan). Hope that helps

I have the Jodie bag in burgundy and absolutely love it. Dressed up or casual it goes with every look. It's different for a change. I love your colour and wanted it but haven't been able to get it yet!
Keep the bag. it's a classic bag, (named after Jodie Foster, as she wore a similar Bottega in the 90's/00's), it's a great colour (which you love) and not everyone and their aunt have it lol. I'm biased as I have it in orange and have yet to see anyone on the street with it :P

What might help but needs some training is ankering the feeling you would need in those stress moments in your body. For that you summon the feeling that you think would be helpful (maybe joy) by remembering moments you felt intense joy, breathe into the feeling and try to feel it in your whole body. What does it feel like, where is it mostly in your body? When it is there anker it in your body by tapping lightly on the part of you where the feeling is strongest or feels right. If you train this it will get easier in time to summon the feeling just by tapping that body part even in difficult situations. Love you 💕💕🙏
For stressful moments, I will place one hand on my heart and one hand on my tummy and take a lot of slow and deep breaths, while saying, "Only good will come of this."

Got a lot of earpiercings myself and the best you can do for the best healing is: when you wash your hair rins the studs out with clear water so every soap is gone & 2 don't sleep on it becaus that gives presure on the piercings. And 1s a week disinfect it but don't overdu with that bc than it can get the oppesit effect. Have a lovely sunday

I don’t get lumps but if I get super stressed I break out in peri-oral dermatitis round my mouth, it’s so painful feels like the skin on my face is falling off! I can now clock when it’s starting but I can’t stop it it’s really frustrating and I then get more stressed that I can’t stop it and it gets worse! I’ve learnt that I just need to remove myself from the situation and properly talk to people about what’s actually causing me to stress out x
I really like Bottega Veneta in wallet form, I like my royal blue one, I admire the craftsmanship of how the leather is assembled. Their designs are a bit matronly, but yours has a more fun feel to it. Love your new piercings, I’ve been wanting to get more much the same as yours.

amelia, you really shouldn’t be reusing disposable masks! they’re disposable for a reason as they can’t be cleaned/sterilised in between uses so if you reuse them they actually end up acting a vector for carrying the virus aka totally defeating the point. reusable masks are great but make sure you also wash them (at high temperatures) in between uses or they also will totally defeat the purpose. also, be careful not to touch the outside or your mask or pull it down on your chin, especially while talking. hope this helps you!

Hi Amelia! I'm wondering if the bumps that come out when you're stressed can be related to rosacea. I know you get flushed when you're nervous and that's common in people with rosacea. Just a thought.

For worry and stress, I am currently doing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and one of the things which as really helped me with worrying and stress is worry times. Its basically 10-20 minute session everyday (normally the same time everyday) and that is your time to worry and plan out solutions to deal with those worries. I use an app called reach out worry time, and throughout the day whenever I catch myself stressing or worrying, I write it in the app, and then when it comes to my worry time, then I worry about it then. It is just so you try to postpone the stress just to that time instead of stressing and worrying all the time. If any of that made sense haha, but honestly that is the thing thats worked for me the best :D xx

My fiancé hates it because a few days before we go away I do a trying on/outfit planning session then I do my accessories and shoes so I literally know exactly what my outfits are and take pictures in case I forget! Soooo much better ❤️ I used to just pack crap and then get there and be so mad because I’d feel like I had nothing to wear! 😂

Full on honest: i love most of the Bottega bags and this one (did not seen it on the gram yet) but i do love the design. And i thought you love wearing handbags with a handle right? This 1 has that (but without the option of edding a shoulderstrap so 🤔? But its blue and the right tone of blue, and you don't own a design like this so i think you can get you'r wear out of it. But i always say when in douht don't buy it.

Love the bag. To all the people critiquing you and the mask: I work in healthcare and we constantly touch our masks, too, even though we aren’t suppose to. It’s hard not to. No one is perfect.

They definitely should have not been doing your eyebrows with the current lockdown rules, all face treatments should have been postponed until the 15th. I was booked in to have mine done and then it got cancelled the day before :(
@Elaine's world Those rules have been there all through lockdown in the UK. Face treatments were meant to start again on the 1st Aug but have been pushed back....
