You are welcome. I had this pistol, and was going to do a review on it. I hurried up and got it done because of your request. Feeling comfortable is probably the most important thing with a pistol. I also agree that it is very comfortable to shoot, and handles recoil well. The package of items included for the price is also awesome. It being a bit heavy makes it shoot smoother. I'm glad you liked the video 😀 God bless you and yours too!

I bought one and took it to the range. The first 50 rounds I shot standing went thru one 1 1/2” hole at 21 feet. It has an excellent trigger and an accurate barrel.

Ok about trigger pulls. I'm 71 years old, I've pulled a lot of triggers. I've shot 1911s with target quality triggers and and 1895 Nagant revolvers that you needed a block and tackle to pull. Personally I believe any modern pistols you buy today will have a usable trigger. I have 3 Tupperware pistols, a S&W SW9VE (2nd Gen Sigma), a S&W M&P in 40 Short & Weak and my latest a Canik TP9DA. I have a buddy with a Canik TP9V2 his EDC and he loves it. I have 2 dozen 1911s from Colt, Springfield, Llama (.45acp, 9mm, 380acp & .22LR), Rock Island, and Browning .22LR & 380acp. All of them have acceptable triggers. Yes when sitting at the bench and concentrating on just the quality of the trigger pull i can decern a difference, but and this is a big BUT when I'm at the range I really don't notice any great difference. Each gun rifle, pistol, revolver or shotgun is an individual device and they will all have their own character. Just shoot your gun and concentrate on improving your skills, I believe if you do that then it won't matter if there is a barely perceivable difference or not you will just adapt to the gun I your hand and hit what your aim at.
Yep. You are describing in more detail exactly what I was trying to say. People always want to know about the trigger. (and I understand why). But shooting a gun vs feeling the trigger table top, are often 2 dif things. I also have a couple Nagant revolvers. You aint kidding....lol. And also the DA on the Polish P64.......😦
I have handled a couple of P64s at gun shows. Agreed their triggers leave something to be desired, but I always try to look at guns, particularly surplus guns in context. Context being, who designed the gun, who did they design it for, what purpose was it designed for? These are just a few of the questions I ask myself when examining or purchasing a used/surplus gun. I don't judge an 1891 Mosin rifle by the same standards I judge a Savage model 110 or a Weatherby Vanguard. I don't judge a Soviet block pocket pistol by the same standards I judge a Colt Officers ACP or even my Taurus 1911. Yeah I forgot the Taurus 1911. I have several Taurus revolvers as well as several S&W revolvers, I don't judge them by the same criteria. I expect the Taurus revolvers to be serviceable, I expect the Smiths to be exceptional. None of this should be taken as criticism, from the few of your videos I've seen you seem to be a man of reasonable expectations.
I have looked at these before, they felt well built, and worth what they were asking. I am waiting for the day when a new firearm comes out that doesn't look like every other one. I understand the concealment no snag etc, in my opinion handguns need a redesign. The main reason I bought a Spectrum is because it is different than the rest.
I'm a newbie to guns. I don't own one as of this time. I've been looking at guns and this one is at the top of my list for a first time gun owner. Thanks for your review of this gun!
I'm impressed with Tisas's pistols. I have their 1911 service model & Hipower clone BR9. Glad to see someone else enjoying their wares. Good review & your enthusiasm is contagious. Subscribed👍
Despite coming with crimped 15 round mags, the PNP Zigana PX9 is a little bit of a better value because of the night sights. I have this one and ordered 2 full 18 round Mec gars. I took a look at Tru glo and XS sights, minimum $65 and thought "WTH, why so expensive?" In this case its like 35% of the cost of the gun to replace them and all black sights are worthless at night or dawn-dusk.
My promag 32 round for the Taurus G2c, G3, G3c, works in my Zigana PX9. Just have to remove sleeve. The G3 locks in the holster but is a little loose because it is narrower.
The Px9 takes sig 226 mags, which also fit the Taurus pistols. So that makes sense.. As far as holsters goes, I only use a holster specifically made for each model.
@@2aEdu I had to see if something else fit, I commented in your Th9c video comment that it fits the px9 holster. It is snug and will work in a pinch. I will not only use the Px9 holster for carry because it is too far from my body, the weight of the gun cause to much movement , other wise I like the holster
Just bought one today, got 3 mags though with no issues other than sight elevation pivot roll pin would walk out. Added a bit of superglue gell to pin so hope that seals it. I think the trigger is pretty good, my safety is not very stiff at all.
The TX 22 to me is hands down the best 22 pistol on the market. I have thousands of rounds through mine and it would be great as a defensive weapon due to its ability to rapid fire without any issues!
The mag catch is easily reversible and my XD9 threaded barrel dropped right in. Mine came with the two 15 rd mags and Night sites,I just bought mine this week. 11/2021
I view it as a second version of the 1st generation, because it’s still a sig 226 magazine and you can change the sights without changing the generation of a pistol.
best way of reviewing a gun, very comprehensive details.a complete introduction no questions at all but we would like to see it in the shooting range.i love zigana sports.its new model definitely like to see its performance.
I've got the PX-9 and just love it. Best gun I've ever shot. Would like to see your review of the FXS-9 made by Agaglu in Turkey. Inexpensive and looks yummy.
I bought mine shortly after you bought your first one. The only thing I don’t like about it (besides the 15 round mags) is the grip feels very plastic to me. I’ve thought about either getting some different stippling done or putting some rubberized grip tape on it. I love shooting it though.
I have never heard of plastic rails. But I am a old 1911 guy. Can't cope with striker fire anything but, I do sleep next to a glock, just for reliability and light/laser. 1 striker fire is enough for me. I kinda wish I had that instead of the Glock 19 gen. 4. 15 round mag bugs you, try living in a 10 round state.
The HS2000 & The Springfield XD have plastic rear rails. I have older examples of both with a lot of rounds and have had no problems or wear with the poly rails.
I got mine back in November, it has night sights and 15 round mags, my G3 18s fit and work. I also used a carbide dremel bit on the dimples n now they're 18 rd. The Px mags also work in the G2C and the G3. First 50 rounds of FMJs there was some FTE problems but, she runs like a dream now(300+ rounds atm). Like your vids allot thank you
I just purchased a Canik TP9 elite sc! It also came in a carry case with some back straps , cleaning brush, 12 round mag and 15 round, OWB , ( I think your Paddle looked like it would last longer), mini tool box! It is a gray tungsten color and the finish looks real good! Sootch and a bunch of guys reviewed this gun! It is more top heavy than my G3C but it shoots as well as my G3C! Love the Canik trigger as well as G3C! Love this video you did as this had some similarities to my Canik! I would love to see you compare the G3C and the Canik TP9 sc !

Weird coincidence, exactly one year after this video was posted I ordered one of these. Hopefully it works. If it does, I don't know of a better handgun value on the market. Picked mine (Gen 2) up new for $279.00.
I have seen videos where they drilled out those indents so the mags will hold 18 rounds and it worked. You obviously have to remove the springs before you drill.
Odd … the HS2000 was imported from a company in Knoxville TN … I purchased a HS2000 in 2001 in a LGS for $225 OTD Incredible quality pistol… I now own a XDME SC 10mm
The best, most informative video iv'e ever seen. I bought a px9, and you showed me some things that were very helpful. Keep up the awesome work!!!!!! Got any ideas on different front and rear sights? Thank you for an awesome job!!!!
Dude your videos are awesome and got this peace about six months ago that dang safety I really had to work with it but it is smooth now and first shot it had one jam racked it several times and it shoots smooth now and I just swap it out with my Glock when I cwc!
I know I'm late to the party but that's just how I am, when something that's an off name brand comes out I give it time for the community shake it out. But I finally picked one up I'll have it in the next couple of days. It's a NIB Filipino Police Issue and I got it for $225.00 delivered 😎👍. It was very hard to find that particular pistol and it was even harder getting it at that price, I lucked out so I jumped on it when I had the chance. I have a feeling that those are going to be collectible, they're already getting really hard to find and the price is going up rapidly.
Look into the safariland GLS system. Same style of holster release when you go to draw the gun. You typically don’t hear people talk about the gls system, mainly people talk about the als system from safariland but the gls is super nice too!
Thanks for a great review. The Gen2 is a lot like the Gen 1.5 in the review. The safety looks a little different but operates the same. Could you do a short video on how to change the mag release button to the other side? I've not found anyone online that has done a video, even though Tisas says it can be swapped.
Thanks for information on light, been looking one...I have exactly same gun.love the holster downside I'm a big guy...riding in car with it on.. not an option for me
Hi 2a Edu, my wife bought this gun for me as Christmas gift because of the Philippine National Police logo and was expecting the logo to be there but too bad the logo isn’t there anymore (2nd gen), bright side of it is I got a new tool, about the barrel length, when I looked at the Tisas website, the PL9 has that 4.5 length, I think thats where they got the confusion because that model looks the same as the PX9 the only difference is the barrel length.
That is a nice gift. you have a cool wife. I like the one with the logo too. But the improved rear sight and the 3 -18 rd mags are nice with this one. I wish the original offering had 18 as well. You are prob right on the barrel length confusion. That makes sense.
@@abdilkhairomar7847 for iwb, I use “we the people” holster, not a perfect fit but it works. For owb, the springfield xd/xdm paddle holster, you may need to do a little bit of filing for a smoother draw and re-holstering. Not sure about the safariland holster, but you can always go for a universal holster. I also bought a fobus holster but did not work with the px9 however it fitted with my taurus g3. By the way, I’m a southpaw.
I think manufacturers should take a hint and provide the accessories like this company does I mean that alone could pull someone to purchase this I mean 3 mags + loader holster cleaning brush and rod and sweet case to hold it all I mean it’s a complete package - cool beans dude 👍❤️💯🇺🇸
I agree. Some of the most expensive guns come with 1 mag and no accessories. This package comes with everything someone would need. Especially a new shooter.
I am really tempted, it looks like a nice setup. I don't see any in stock, probably good for me, But, I'll keep an eye on it. Filipinos build great guns.
Good videos keep up the good tool info don't mean to be rude but I might of missed the pricing of the 2 zigana so if you can let me know price and where you got them from cuz they don't have them at 3shops by me in Cleveland ohio
Thanks, pal. You're gonna make me spend MORE money now. Stop! Just kidding. Not totally, but mostly, from watching your video on the Tisas 1911A1 WWII clone, I pulled the trigger, pun intended, picking up one at my FFL dealer on Friday. Great videos, but you're goinna make me empty my bank account! LOL Keep the great videos comin', I'll keep watchin' and I'll keep spendin'.
Thanks for all the time and effort you put into your reviews, they are truly helpful! Regarding the versions/gens, it seems based on prior comments that your 1st purchase was a Gen 1 and your second purchase was a modified version of that. The gen 2 has rear adjustable sights and 2 -18 round mags. If the sights are night sights they do not appear to be very good quality so not sure if that's a plus... I think both gen 1 and gen2 have the 6 additional grip plates??? And I assume the triggers are the same in both gens. Does that sound about right?
Excellent review thank you. How's the trigger on the PX 9 GEN1? As I really like the design and wish to order one. Any information or suggestion is greatly appreciated. Stay safe, Cheers.
Nice shooting pistol, bought mine from aim surplus at a great price. The one thing I noticed was the rear slide rails are polymer, but it’s really accurate.
The HS2000 & XD have poly rear rails. Doesn't seem to cause any problems or wear. I have some older examples of these pistols with a lot of rounds on them.

Just ordered one with all the goodies for under $300
can’t wait to shoot it.
Can’t beat that deal.
I have seen videos where they drilled out those indents so the mags will hold 18 rounds and it worked. You obviously have to remove the springs before you drill.
Yes. You can do that. There are then holes in the mag. Which isn't ideal, but for range mags it would be fine.
Thanks for letting me check out your new gun! Good video to.
No prob. I'm glad you liked it. Thank you!
P226 mags are a bit hard to find. The pistol I ordered will come with 2. I want a third.
Odd … the HS2000 was imported from a company in Knoxville TN … I purchased a HS2000 in 2001 in a LGS for $225 OTD
Incredible quality pistol…
I now own a XDME SC 10mm
Still just in the 1st quarter, *already amazed* by the bundle.. WOW
And thx for the enjoyable review.
It does come with some nice stuff for the money. You are welcome. Thank you.
The best, most informative video iv'e ever seen. I bought a px9, and you showed me some things that were very helpful.
Keep up the awesome work!!!!!! Got any ideas on different front and rear sights? Thank you for an awesome job!!!!
Thank you! 👍
I haven't looked into sights for these.
Glock sights fit perfectly.
Love my generation 2. Your recommendation. Thanks. Bought two 226 18 rounds. Thanks. 👍☕😎
That is cool. you are welcome!
@@2aEdu mine came with full night sights but only two 15 round mags. Keep rocking your videos.
Dude your videos are awesome and got this peace about six months ago that dang safety I really had to work with it but it is smooth now and first shot it had one jam racked it several times and it shoots smooth now and I just swap it out with my Glock when I cwc!
I'm going to have to go get one now that I've seen your video thanks man
No prob 👍
What a great presentation. Well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 A very nice handgun for an affordable fair price.
Thank you
Just shot Mine at the range yesterday ran flawless 😎
Are you going to review a T.O.R.O ?
Thanks for the vids! Subbed!!
Thank you! I am going to post a video about the TORO and why I don't have one yet....tomorrow. But yes, I want to review it.
Wow. New toys. So excited 😁
Yes! lol 😀
@@2aEdu did I understand you correctly. The mags are crimped so you can't do 18? Can you purchase some that do? And interchangeable with taurus?
I have one also brother with the night sights Patriots think alike lol love ya man keep it up.
Heck yeah 👍 You hang in there too 😉
Look into the safariland GLS system. Same style of holster release when you go to draw the gun. You typically don’t hear people talk about the gls system, mainly people talk about the als system from safariland but the gls is super nice too!
Cool 👍 Thanks.
Hey dude, does this gun will fit with any safariland gls holster?
G2 and later g3 duty th are awesome.
Thanks for a great review. The Gen2 is a lot like the Gen 1.5 in the review. The safety looks a little different but operates the same. Could you do a short video on how to change the mag release button to the other side? I've not found anyone online that has done a video, even though Tisas says it can be swapped.
You are welcome. I plan to do a Gen 2 review soon. RUclips now prohibits showing gun modifications.
Hey dude, what holster are you using with that tisas zigana? Are there any safariland would fit into that?
@@abdilkhairomar7847 for iwb, I use “we the people” holster, not a perfect fit but it works. For owb, the springfield xd/xdm paddle holster, you may need to do a little bit of filing for a smoother draw and re-holstering. Not sure about the safariland holster, but you can always go for a universal holster. I also bought a fobus holster but did not work with the px9 however it fitted with my taurus g3. By the way, I’m a southpaw.
When my eyes see that PX-9 my brain quickly thinks Springfield XD-9. Wahi' Valleys
Great review. I can't find this locally but will be on the lookout.
Thank you. Good luck 👍
Love the videos and chats. Learned a few things along the way so Thanks. Wondering if you are an ffl dealer?
Thank you! No I am not.
I just bought mine I love it
I like your video on Tisas PX-9 good review
Thank you!
Just got one today can a 30 round clip fit in the gun at all ?
Look for Sig 226 mags. That is what it takes. There might be a higher cap avail.
@@2aEdu thanks because my boy gave me a 9mm clip and this is my 1st gun so i was just curious. Appreciate it ✅
@@LORDRYKARD Cool 👍 Hope you enjoy it.
Prob gonna pick one up soon
I am really tempted, it looks like a nice setup. I don't see any in stock, probably good for me, But, I'll keep an eye on it. Filipinos build great guns.
These are made in Turkey, but the first one I bought was from a Philippine police contract.
@@2aEdu I see. I do have a Turkish shotgun, great quality also. But I l do love Filipinos,
Very good video!!! Cheers!!!
Thank you!
Good videos keep up the good tool info don't mean to be rude but I might of missed the pricing of the 2 zigana so if you can let me know price and where you got them from cuz they don't have them at 3shops by me in Cleveland ohio
I didn't give the price because it has gone up since I bought it. Like everything else. I got this one from Aim for 299
Thanks for the info just bought one coming in today p.s what is the name of the video where you show how to properly cock back the slide
Does the factory holster allow space for low profile light attachment ?
Thanks, pal. You're gonna make me spend MORE money now. Stop! Just kidding. Not totally, but mostly, from watching your video on the Tisas 1911A1 WWII clone, I pulled the trigger, pun intended, picking up one at my FFL dealer on Friday. Great videos, but you're goinna make me empty my bank account! LOL Keep the great videos comin', I'll keep watchin' and I'll keep spendin'.
lol. It happens to me too..... Guns are a fun addiction. I hope you like your 1911. I will do my best to keep them coming. Thank you.
Fine work
Thank you 👍
@@2aEdu thanks
Wow.. I really like that hand gun
Cool. 👍 I like it too.
I enjoy your videos a lot
Thank you
Great review very detailed 👍
Thank you!
👍👍 Nice!
Thanks! 👍
Definitely hear audio well.
👍
Wow. I like the OWB. Nice
I really like the holster too.
Nice! I think all worth the money
I think so too!
Do I see an SKS with an aftermarket stock behind you? If so ive been looking for a polystock for mine. But no luck.
Nope original chicom stock. It is dark because thar one is an early military issue that has seen a lot of use. I do have several poly stocks though
What I’d really like to know, is if this thing fits in the Springfield XD holster?
I dont have an XD holster, but I will try to find out.
I been thinking about one I have a tisas zagana sport that has been a great gun
Love the channel brother but can you show some Cal legal guns. The DOJ roster shrinks everyday.
Thank you. I live in MI. I'm sure I have many CA legal gun son this channel though. Quite a few milsurp pistols that I think are on the roster.
Per SDS Customer Support, the gen 1 does not include the additional grip plates...
Excellent review thank you. How's the trigger on the PX 9 GEN1? As I really like the design and wish to order one. Any information or suggestion is greatly appreciated. Stay safe, Cheers.
Trigger is great! Love it. Mine is Super reliable. I actually carry it over my other 🔫's on my nighttime walks. That's saying something..
Lovely pistol
👍
Nice shooting pistol, bought mine from aim surplus at a great price. The one thing I noticed was the rear slide rails are polymer, but it’s really accurate.
The HS2000 & XD have poly rear rails. Doesn't seem to cause any problems or wear. I have some older examples of these pistols with a lot of rounds on them.
@@2aEdu thanks for the reply. I really enjoy your content and thorough reviews. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@Jeff-xn1ew No prob. Thank you!
Just subscribed 👍
Thank you!
I have the gun,it's a good one,but as a left hand shooter it's hard to find a holster for it.would a springfield XDM holster fit it???
Not into Poly Guns But it looks Ok Nice Video...Keep it Going Cheers!!
Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. I hope you have a good one!
You nailed it on XDM inspired? Too bad they don't make sub compact similar to hellcat.
I agree!
@@2aEdu Looks like they're shipping with only two mags now. Little greed goes a long way I guess.
@@WV591 Yep, always greed. I ordered 2 different versions of this pistol. Different mags and sights. I did reviews on both.
Great review, now I have another gun I want to get.
Thanks man. It is a good shooter too.
@@2aEdu do you have a referral link to a supplier that would kick you back a referral code ?
@@SergeiPetrenko No I dont. Just my Amazon link, and I also have a LA police Gear link (which also has a coupon code)
