The argument comes after Glanville stated that he believes Steel was "unprepared." Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang.

I do appreciate when the witness shows respect to both the prosecution and defense. When they treat the defense attorneys bad by talking down to them or being strait out hateful it just really loses any respect I have for them. If I were a juror I could not help but be swayed to believe they are saying what they are saying simply to get a conviction not because it is the truth and facts for justice. Witnesses who simply answer questions and state facts without showing a flat out bias against the defendants are more credible in my opinion. These young men are innocent until proven guilty by a preponderance of evidence. This judge said the other day that they had already proven their case. What has he heard and seen that we have not? I am not convinced that all of these separate crimes are crimes that Jeffrey Williams orchestrated.
The burden for a conviction actually is higher, beyond a reasonable doubt is a higher standard than preponderance of evidence.
The other day, the judge ruling mainly was based on the notion that a reasonable jury COULD convict, not that they will…
