Activity Flow:
1. Both teams dribble through the field
2. Then the coach calls or shows a number (here: 2!)
3. The two players of the respective team with the called number immediately leave their own ball and try to pass the balls of the opposing team out of the field as quickly as possible.
4. The players who have lost the ball go out of the field first.
5. How many balls do the called players manage to clear from the opposing team's field within one minute?
6. One point is awarded to the team for each ball played away - which team has collected the most points after all the rounds?
Organisation:
1. Mark out a 15x15m field
2. 4 cones as field boundaries
3. Divide into 2 teams
4. Number each team
5. 1 ball for each player
Coaching Points:
1. Shout or show a different number after each round.
2. Adjust the size of the field to the number of players
3. Players who dribble out must also leave the field.
Variations:
1. Dribbling instructions before the number is called or shown (left, right, ball tipping, ball swinging).
2. Players who have lost their ball immediately become catchers and also try to win the ball from the opposing team. The player of the team who is last in possession of the ball scores a point for his team.
