Coruche is amazing, the day I was going there I did not expect a lot from your home town, but, when I got there...well, I fell in love with that place 💯 Thank you for comment 👍
One of the things that I admire about your channel is that it’s very informative. You definitely do your homework!! Thanks for sharing another outstanding video and featuring an unfamiliar Coruche.
Thanks for shining a light on this hidden gem. It is hard to find any information about these smaller towns. This one looks more prosperous than many, perhaps due to the cork and other agricultural revenue?
Thank you!👍 I think yes, it could be because of agricultural activity in the region, when I was driving to Coruche there were massive fields and also some industrial facilities on the way. Not 100% sure, but I think you are right 🙂👌 And also cork trees were everywhere.
I went uphill, but the gate was closed, I thought maybe it was under renovation 🤔 But planning to go there again, really fell in love with this place 😉 thank you for suggestion, next time will start with Nossa Senhora do Castelo 👍
Hello, happy travels! What drone do you use? It has a great image! Do you know that it is necessary to have a license for certain drones in Portugal, and are there rules for use?! It's not a city, Coruche is a Vila. In Portugal, localities have various names, aldeias, Vila and cidades. There are certain conditions for each classification, number of inhabitants and available services, hospital, etc., etc. Security in cities is provided by the police, in vilas by the GNR.
Hey, thank you 👍 I am always confused which is which, city/town/village. If I mix up sometimes, sorry😅 About drone, yes I know about regulations and my drone is registred in my homecountry and also here in ANN. All flights should be confirmed anyway, so before visiting place 2 weeks before I apply for a flight. But I see that a lot of tourists fly without authorization. I fly old Dji mini 2, but gets the job done 👍🇵🇹
Excellent Video. I travel to Portugal as a tour manager. I am coming again in September and wondered about extending my stay to go visit Madeira. Do you have information on how to get there and costs and best way to go etc.?
Hey, thank you! 👍🙂 I'm curious about what a tour manager does? Because I'm trying to launch tour/guide services in Portugal now😁 If you want to go to Madeira, there are two options: one is by plane, and if I can trust the information online, then by ferry as well. I think the best way is by plane. A round trip (I looked for prices) in September is around 200 euros. For ferry prices, it's hard to tell, but I think it will take a long time to go this way. Thank you for your comment 🫡
Coruche is pronounced "ku-ru-sh". You should do like you did in Covilhã and ask the locals how to pronounce the name of the places that you're visiting, not only to make sure you pronounce them correctly but also to learn. 🙂
Yeah I'm struggling to remember that "O" always is like "U" 😁, but I really appreciate that viewers correct me and say what's right and what's not 👍👍👍 Thank you for real, at least Coruche from now on I will pronounce correctly 🫡🇵🇹
@@millionplacesoneworld - I mean, not all the "o" are pronounced like "u" in the portuguese language (only the "o" at the end of a word) but because the rule doesn't apply to every case, it would be tedious and next to impossible to explain when an "o" should sound like an "o" and when it should sound like a "u". Just ask people how to say a word that you're unsure of, it's the best way to learn. 🙂
❤❤❤very calm and relaxing place, and the cycling is good idea 🎉thanks for the new expierence
Thank you 🙂🧡
My home town. I miss it so much. Glad to see more people seeing what it has to offer!
