Because you are bored and want to dissect other players playstyle. The proper way to play a Sorcerer is to interrupt everything even your own team mates for no damn reason. Same engagement, but you are levitating, the floor is lava, your team mate teleported away or a rock is hurled past your head. I think its the same writer's block as why all the bosses have one shot kill moves. Perhaps the developers should have either made a proper illusionist or bizzaro mario.
The only reason why i stopped playing sorcerer is because of Barbarian's Iron Will perk. Not being able to knockback someone at all, makes it impossible to kill them unless they're shit barbs.
I am currently purple rank on Sorcerer. I go will resourcefullness max health 224. Crystal sword. Feels great and also very safe, can always blink away and push melee classes back with wind push and wind vortex. I am loving it. Should hit demigod in 2-3 days
Some friends and I were fighting wyvern the other night, it did I think the slam or tackle, hit all of us, and sent us flying right into the portals we opened if we needed a quick escape. We laughed so hard because what are the chances 😂
Lets be honest, any class can reach demigod pretty easy. Just need to avoid pvp and you are good. I loose 90% of my PvP fights on bard and still managed to get to the top 100 on the character. You just need to be patient.
Why don’t they just make the game to wear if you’re in PVP combat you can’t run into portals or escapes this happens to me all the time too. It’s really lame.
Because a giant chunk of the game is escaping. It's literally the win condition of the game. The pvp is just an additional obstacle to that. The reward for pvp is not just their gear but also having less competition looting the dungeons
I would assume it's because so many streamers (who make up a large portion of the high ELO ladder) have carved out a niche as the best or one of the best at a class so they are reluctant to change.
