Fellow Catholic convert here from Buddhism. There are different types of buddhists, with a lot of diversity in belief. This makes it difficult to explain buddhism as a "whole". Big differences between Theravada, Zen, Pure Land, Nichiren and Tibetan Buddhism, for example, just as there are differences between JWs, Mormons, and other types of Christians.

I want to help my brother-in-law learn about the Gospel and about the truth of the Catholic Church, but he is a VERY devout Tibetan Buddhist. If anyone knows of an interview or a contact for a Tibetan Buddhist (preferably Amdo Tibetan) who has converted to Catholicism, please comment here and let me know!
Yes you wd likely need someone specifically informed on Tibetan Buddhism which seems to be a sort of "meshing" of Buddhism and the native Tibetan nature religion (Bon). It can be very different from other types of Buddhism.
This is wrong. Sorry, I could not watch for over 5 minutes. The saints of the Catholic Church get all their graces and favors from God. Buddhism has nothing in common with the most holy servants of God. She should have been evangelized correctly before the interview.
