Have your ever heard about a heaven on earth?
If not, lets visit Shangla where lofty mountains, lush green thick forests, shiny meadows, umbrageous Blue Pine and Fir trees, cool breezes, natural springs and dark blue sky give you a real feel of heaven on Earth.
Shangla lies in the North East of KPK with a seven & a half Million Rural Population. Shangla is nesting among the neighboring districts Battagram & Tor Ghar on the East, Swat on the West, Kohistan on the North and Bunir in the West. Initially Shangla Par was part of District Swat. In 1995, it was upgraded to the status of a District. 7001 feet high Shangla hill (Shangla Top) separates the district from Swat. It’s the one & only way of communication between the two districts which links the Silk route and CPEC at Bisham from where the great River Indus flows for about 75 KM’s along with District Shangla. The general elevation of the district is 2000 to 3000 meters above sea level comprising the western extremities of the great Himalayan range.
