I love y’all dirty humor. Marriage is awesome. 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Respect for that guy . Over the road is hard I’ve done it for about a year . Respect
“I’m coming home early 😉” man you crazy 😂😂😂
When I was a 63T Bradley mechanic that repaired hmmv, 5 tons, duece and a halfs, occasional M1 Abrahams tanks I felt bad if I let my Plt Sgt or Squad leader Ssg Imes and Sgt Rednoir down when I rushed through and missed torqueing down a bolt that comes out of a generator. These leaders looked out for all us soldiers and had our backs. I became very conscious and ocd my repairs. Having people who become more than employees and more l8ke family is golden in my book
Mrs. CarDr 😂 had a Great idea, with the hourly plus FRT bonuses. Tesla does that they give bonuses for employees who hit or exceed FRT time constantly while paying hourly. Great way every tech I’ve spoke to loves it & insures good quality work every time.
I love how yall keep it real. Grandpa is awesome. I bet he could tell some stories.
I wish there were mechanics like you around my area. Y'all do good work.
We need good honest mechanics like Alex, it's hard to find a good honest mechanic
ok two things in this video. 1. LOVE the fact you took your shopping cart back, can't tell you how many people just leave it in the parking space. Small stuff like that shows consideration in even the smallest aspects of your lives. and 2. Love the fact you guys pay hourly, I left Toyota for that exact reason, the best paid people were the ones who cut the most corners and management love that. You guys are becoming my favorite car channel on youtube, sometimes good vibes from family business is all you need.
Thanks, man! That's what we're all about! I appreciate you watching. I truly do!
@@AlexTheCarDoctorthe newer dodges are good cars they keep the bills payed at shop and keep the business going lol 😂 😂 😂

Excellent job saving that man a whole lot of money with that bad mechanic analysis of needing a head gasket instead of a new oil cooler keep up the good work Dr Alex 💪
Alright, “I’m a plumber” we know what plumbers do, lol.
Back to back videos absolutely loving it
Listen I rocks with pawpaw frfr. And I love that he still kicking
He doing more than that lol. He’s got a 50 year old girlfriend 😩
"You need Brakes, give me a $1,000,and I'll hook you up", 😂 Family dynamics, is you better be able to take jokes
26:20 I think JT has the only DRB III left this side of the country lol
Alex i wanna see you grow and honestly these long videos w several topics isnt the way need short how to or fixing a problem u found or something interesting u found like how the car wizard does it. Most of us arent going to sit here through this long video .The shorter ones that get str8 to the point or storys behind the car(5-15 mins) is going to get you views these long day in a life videos should be posted every so often
Na this is a vlog channel..there are plenty of other how to channels across RUclips..we come here to see people day to day
I wonder how he got nearly 200,000 subscribers without consulting your production expertise? And I’m sure that you have a portfolio of clients whom you’ve helped grow their audience, right? RIGHT?!
Just got a 2019 Durango with 125k miles, they def redesigned and fixed that lifter tick. I have yet to find anyone with the tick after 2016. check every form possible lol more so of basic electrical issue than anything.
Alex be layin pipe 😂😂😂😂
Y'all brighten up my day #familylove
Another great video
Yall steady dropping content....thats what's up keep u good work u and the fam
that cheap pump works great to flush heatercore in winter without a hose. plus use compressed air and cleaner
I worked flat rate I couldn’t stand flat rate because you work 60 hours but on flag 30 hours. The best shop worked out they payed hour plus insensitive. Outside of being a independent contractor for a couple shops that paid percentage on the job one I was get 40% and the other I was getting 25% the 40 % on the job I was making over 1500 a week
I thought that dorman oil cooler was the ultimate fix. I guess not
Had a town and country 3.6 with it's coolant issues water pump oil cooler heater hoses all the typical coolant problems still ran strong at 200,000 can't preach it enough on doing those oil changes on time
Rain Man. Ray is a pretty cool dude. Talked to him about various work plus he is honest. I'm going to have him work on my car. He's about 150 mi from me. I'm in Orlando. He's right outside of Brandon or Sarasota area. Nice guy. I know down here the flat rate down here where hourly is around $ 24 bucks an hour and I think in Atlanta probably somewhere in the same so at least you got kind of an idea. You know some of them go by hours on jobs. Some just go by hourly pay up to you. Sometimes they do a little commission on top of hourly. First and foremost is y'all got to make some money for you + can go from there
I only have one part time guy now, because I will be 65 this year it is time to slow down, I moved into a smaller shop a few years ago so my overhead is low, but when I had 5 full time guys the trained mechanics got paid hourly and flat rate, if the goal was 30 an hour I would pay 15 on the clock and 15 flat rate, had guys getting over a hundred hours a week when we had good jobs, but they still got a good pay on bad weeks
200k today, I can feel it, I subscribed at 10k everyone likes Shon and Alex
How about hourly plus an incentive like a commission. Make the incentive a combination of service based like how long they’re with you guys plus their training / skills. Not just how many classes they can take but measure how they apply that knowledge they learned into their daily work to increase the incentive?
My mom call me El Cheapo that’s was so funny
Talk about somebody being lucky, my brother drove 20 miles without a serpentine belt. 02 Corolla with 275k, I honestly don't know how the head gasket held up. It did overheat.
Heat on high blowing on the windshield 😂😂😂
Plumbers do lay that pipe na...js
I believe no car is a bad car. I just think they have bad owners. You take care of your car and it will take care of you.
Not sure if this helps but I have a 180° thermostat for my 3.6. Helps alot with temp and might also be the reason why I've had no tick/oil cooler problems?
I was the one that said burger king it was a joke I knew y'all meet at AutoZone I know about my family
Was the cause of the dorman issue the housing or the gaskets?
@@gabbe52501 housing
GOOD BENEFITS ATTRACT! Health,dental, 401k,vision
I heard when it comes to differentials, the gear ratio should be the same, or maybe that was the drive shafts? Or it could damage the weakest link
Remember Mrs doctor Car mechanics can fix anything Alex can beyond
Plumber, electrician, welder, Machineast, custom fabrication,
I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra which is comparable to a Kia forte and I get 40 mi to the gallon City and 43 on the highway. Unbelievable and the Hyundai has ran perfect. I've got 50,000 mi on it. Everything runs good. You keep that car. Don't you sell it? No selling the Kia no selling the Jetta lol
Different ring and pinion
Alex sling bag where did you get it?

Alex I’m willing to take a road trip to your shop because I’m tired of the unfair mechanics all over where is your shop located?
