It's quite sad. Idk why they do this to assassin champs. I thought they want the cool flashy champs to be strong and popular. Right now, there's no reason to pick Qiyana over any other mid laner unless you are a big fan of the champ and like the reward for making a subpar champ work. All other premier champions(pushed by Riot) have the incentive of being a strong champion in the meta.
