Like for me it was barely as bad as allergies, except for like a day when I felt much colder. But for some of my relatives, including my parents who aren't as healthy, it hit them *really* hard and I had to be terrified that I'd lose them like other real families lost people. I had to stay up wondering what happens to my siblings and I then because despite all of our efforts, we got it. And go figure, most people in my town didn't care at all about being safe. They’ve said from the beginning not to go see your grandma’s for thanksgiving and you know a ton of people are doing just that today. If we could let the healthy live normally and trust that they wouldn’t put others that are unhealthy at risk that’d be great. But it’s unrealistic, people will not do it. Not to mention, people live in multi generation households or they live with people with preexisting conditions like diabetes, obesity, asthma.

This parade will always be special to me. My dad and I always used to watch it while my mom cooked Thanksgiving dinner. He passed away from Stage 4 cancer in June this year, so it's our first holiday without him. It made me smile to watch the parade and feel the nostalgia.

I loved the parade, better than ever. When crowds are there, camera spends a lot of time showing them and less on the floats, and performers. I really enjoyed it, good job to everyone who was a part of it.
The audio was absolutely terrible. The artists should be performing live. Not pre-recorded tracks and lip syncing. It's hard to watch and gets worse every year.

It's just something they usually have, and because yep it's not safe to do it the usual way this year, we should probably do it differently. Also sure people can get a virus and be pretty fine. Like for me it was barely as bad as allergies, except for like a day when I felt much colder. But for some of my relatives, including my parents who aren't as healthy, it hit them *really* hard and I had to be terrified that I'd lose them like other real families lost people. This parade will always be special to me. My dad and I always used to watch it while my mom cooked Thanksgiving dinner. He passed away from Stage 4 cancer in June this year, so it's our first holiday without him. It made me smile to watch the parade and feel the nostalgia.

But lighting the 9/11 memorial was too dangerous. What a joke that magically everything is ok in the world.
There’s only people working for the parade at the parade so they can actually enforce social distancing. I think they probably should’ve lit up the 9/11 memorial but at the same time I don’t want to have had police officers risking getting corona to enforce mask wearing and social distancing on the inevitable people that would ignore it.

I loved the parade, better than ever. When crowds are there, camera spends a lot of time showing them and less on the floats, and performers. I really enjoyed it, good job to everyone who was a part of it.
The audio was absolutely terrible. The artists should be performing live. Not pre-recorded tracks and lip syncing. It's hard to watch and gets worse every year.

The novelty’s worn off... Have a parade for the indigenous Americans that were robbed of their land. All of us owe them.
