Jimin brags that J Hope learned a small portion/the most difficult part of DNA choreography in 10 minutes while it took 4 hours to the rest to learn the same part, J Hope says that's an exaggeration and that it took him 30 min. In any case, that is not how long it takes them to learn the entire choreography. Also, memorizing the dance doesn't equal to "mastering" it... They have to practice a lot to engrave the dance into their bodies so that they can sing/rap while dancing at the same time without making mistakes; they have to practice how to perform and bring each one their own charisma in the non identical sections; they rehearse facial expressions depending on the mood/theme of the song; they do change/update small things or improve their choreographies during practice and also after watching the audience reactions; I imagine they have to rehearse with their respective outfits too; etc. For years, when they were prepare for their comeback, they used to have to train between 12 and 8 hours daily in order to perfect the choreographies... Now they train between 4-8 hours daily before big performances/concerts. They are quicker to learn now because their individual dancing and performing skills have improved and they're fit, that's why they know how to train more effectively and in which aspects each one of them has to focus... So yeah, they're talented and amazing, but they aren't Gods nor robots, they're humans, of course it will always take a lot of time and effort to learn so many complex choreographies while making them look as easy/perfect as they do.

Seems like you guys have fallen deep into the rabbit hole; watching choreo vids, singing along, knowing (about) some of the dance moves.. But srsly, hearing your open-minded opinions and appreciation of how good BTS as a group and solo artists is so rewarding
You gotta realize that they practice A LOT. In the early days their practices ran up to 13 hours. JHope says that nowadays they run between 4 and 6 hours. How many groups do that? They are perfectionists. You should check out their other dance practices. One of their most difficult ones (according to them) is Danger. Super high energy.
You guys are literally an example of why BTS do what they do; all they want is for their music to be be able to be heard and enjoyed without prejudice and to have some form of impact in people's lives You guys were smiling, laughing, singing along and just enjoying it and that's exactly what they want. The dance practices are great to watch because you get to see the full choreography you don’t get in the MVs. They also have some funny ones like at Halloween they dress up in costumes or sometimes they are playing around some.
