Hi redouan at the moment where you painted out the black areas on the mask of the tree, you can turn the blending mode of the brush to overlay that will prevent the painting from bleeding on the edges, thank u redouane.
I watched this, and I'm doing your course, and somehow, I'm incompetent... all I get is a transparent mask and can't get my selection to become solid... what am I doing wrong?????
@@PhotoManipulation I have been trying to do the mask selection using the colour channels. I pick the most contrasted one, follow the instructions and get a transparent mask I guess, whatever I want to see is transparent or has lowered opacity. I tested it with simple pictures after it didn't work thinking my selection was too complex? I went and found fanal forest trees and tried it on them as well. I still get a see-through selection of something not supposed to be see through. I am obviously doing it wrong else it would have worked. I made a new channel layer and that's where it went wrong from.
