With the National Conference-Congress alliance all set to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir after it won the first assembly polls since 2014, Omar Abdullah thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his wishes and said that he looked forward to a constructive relationship with the Centre.
PM Modi had lauded NC for their performance, while acknowledging the importance of these elections. “I compliment the JKNC for their commendable performance,” he wrote on X. “I am proud of the BJP’s performance in Jammu and Kashmir. I thank all those who have voted for our Party and placed their trust in us. I assure the people that we will keep working for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. I also appreciate the industrious efforts of our Karyakartas,” the PM added.

Omar Abdullahji speaks as per agenda but still heartening he opining to be with centre for the growth of J&K. Isn't absurd , ridiculous to have certain state to have separate flag and constitution?The tall ldrs from valley have to heartily to be unshakable nationalists, all inclusive of faiths, then only they as elders can guide youth to benefit from the present spectacular progress during the last ten yrs.
