In my alternative universe in season 5 I would have Sherlock see Jim and know he is alive. Have Sherlock chase Jim around for like 10 minutes or more.Throwing stuff at each other. Screaming at
the top of their lungs. Sherlock calling Jim "You rotten evil brat bastard". Jim begging "Stop, we can talk about this". Sherlock "I'm going to murder your ass" (or something equivalent). Sherlock yells
at Jim, " You want to be dead. I'll make sure you're dead this time" . And when he finally grabs him, slams him into a wall and stares at him breathlessly.
Jim , out of real fear and panic would give Sherlock the goo goo eyes, braces himself for the worst.
But instead of beating the crap out of Jim Sherlock kisses him passionately and then says ‘Dear Jim”.
Jim would look into his eyes and say “ Sherly”.
(fade to black)
And I can also imagine this strange interaction caught on Mycroft’s security cameras and Mycroft’s expression viewing it. Not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
The next sound you would hear would be all the Johnlock fans screaming “ NO”.
If that ever happened I would laugh and cry myself to death.
