    Awesome! Cait, I hadn't realized that this was the premiere. And how wonderful that it was commissioned by the part of the world I live in. Watching this and knowing the history is like a great uniting of awesome people I know in different places through music. Brava!

    What’s interesting is at 0:55 , the trumpets went up the octave. That is how it is written in the conductor score, but in trumpet it is written down an octave from what they played.

    I remember playing this piece in an honor band I went to it was so beautiful and it great experience!
