What do u guys think about Draft ? I think its a breath of fresh air just not sure about EX pokemon as a whole !

Glad draft is finally coming to unite. It's gonna be so nice for 5 stacks. For solo q it resolves the whole blind pick dilema and allows proper planning and counter play, although the experience is probably gonna be similar to brawl stars where randoms just pick the worst ban options possible
6:11 it seems like the EX bans will be for 1 season but they also said that all of this is experimental so theyll be listening to is to see if its something we want permanently. Draft is technically also temporary

I love that they’ll be adding draft to ranked after about 18-20 months of asking for Draft in Ranked. Not sure what’ll be top priority for me, but it might be Umbreon or Mimikyu if it never gets reverted from the Play Rough buff. Those 2 make certain matchups a living nightmare.
It does say the start of season 17, so its gonna be permanent according to them.
if i had to guess, they’re banning for season 17 then unbanning for 18 with the mindset being that if you think it’s overpowered just ban it

Man, the Japanese version of the director's letter says that the EX BAN is only for games having one or more MASTERS players in the game

They only let like masters play with each other in ranks right so they might just let 1 master play with anyone below that rank on each team

The ex ban is cool but the draft mode honestly I dont think will have too much of an impact other than we wont see anymore mirror matches. Just think about all the clowns populating rank and how many of them are going to first pick cinder or greninja. It will be nice though seeing the enemy comp and not having to blind pick mons and held items aka full heal
