There are lots of vans out there to choose from.
Which one is best for you?
Everyone has a different opinion, but I think the Hiace is a really smart choice because of one important thing....
Practicality.
You can take them almost anywhere, just like you would a normal car, but they're still big enough inside to live comfortably - especially if you get the LWB model.

For me the the height barrier is inside the van, have to do everything sitting down, OK you might be able to get a high roof, quiet rare here in the UK and at a high price, the weather in Oz mate is codusive to spending most time outside cooking etc, in the UK weather wise one could spend days in the van, man you'd have a crooked back, engine wise what a great van.

Yep 100%. My current van is a Volkswagen Crafter where I can almost fully stand up. It’s great. The dream is to one day get a van with a high enough roof that I can fully stand 😎
