When browsing the VOCALOID.COM page through the Wayback Machine service and trying to go to the oldest version of the page (November 27, 2003), I noticed that different demos were uploaded:

This is a chorus sample created by using four different vocal libraries (4 singers).

This is a sample using VOCALOID for backing singers. Lead-vocal is sung by Casey Rankin.
6. The Point (English) LOST MEDIA
This is also a sample using VOCALOID for backing singers synchronizing Lead-vocal sang by Casey Rankin.
7. Vocaloid_for_you / あなたのVOCALOID (Japanese)
This is also a chorus sample using only VOCALOID.

@@religiousindustrialaliens If you like it better, happy for you. I understand price and ease of use is important to some people. But for me, the sound is the most important thing with something like this. Even if I have to save up and shell out a bunch of cash for the V5 engine or V6 now, I would still rather do that than use SynthV because SynthV just does NOT sound right. I like how Vocqloid sounds, I like the more techy engine noise. Heck, I prefer V1 KAITO over V3 KAITO for that very reason. I don't want them sounding more human, I want them sounding like themselves. Digital software singers, even if I have to work harder to make them sound good, my love for them is enough to get me through it.
