On the knight interface, while you can voluntarily reduce the number of knights below the maximum, a hint for those starting a new game is to look at your court for unmarried individuals who you can 'find spouse' on to look for high prowess individuals. Prowess isn't a stat shown to order high to low, but now search is fixed, you can try filters on blademasters, giants, herculean characters etc, or worse case is, click on each one. This also works with other council roles, like finding a high learning person for court physician (so you don't have to pay 50 gold for someone you can simply marry into your court) or high intrigue spymasters as both can be either gender. Even if your starting courtiers are bad, you can use them to bring in quality people.
#4 Forbidding an Heir from Combat: This is a HUGE one! I'd also add that valuable council members (like ones with a very high skill), you may want to Forbid from battle too. #9 Various Army Buttons: Another button I've found very useful, is once your full army is already sieging, there's a new button next to these to create a separate army and leave behind only what you need to continue the siege. #10 Mass Prison Interactions: I had no idea this even existed
I knew about the prison interaction but I fail to see in what situation it would be any useful? When I am in the point of the game that the prison is that full, I am not struggling for money anymore and the ransom sums are like a drop in a bucket compared to my monthly income and the cost of everything, so the gold is probably the least valuable thing they can offer me. And why would I release/kill them without getting anything in return? I'd rather get a hook, or make them convert religion to be less pissy with me, and if they have claims on my titles, I much rather release them with the 'forfeit claims' condition and prevent them from causing any more problems down the line, but the mass interaction button can't do any of those things so I still have to click on them one by one
I am playing in the Punjab area and all of the colors are different shades of orange by in large.. I saw how I could rename things, but is it possible for me to recolor a county/dutchy/kingdom? I would love for a slightly better color pallette.
Hi, thanks for the note. If you go to your main title’s domain page (click on the title’s shield) and then select the edit quill toward the top of the screen, you should go to a customization screen. On that screen, you can modify the color and much else. Good luck!
I ve been playing ck3 for 3 years, I did know about the outline and used it to control my armies since forever. I did not know however that it also shows holdings. I feel so stupid and blind now 😂
I’ve binged you’re ck3 videos! And was thinking that you’re gonna grow really fast. Then I say you’ve had video out for some 2 years!! Seriously I don’t know why yt did not suggest you before!, Ive seen stupid music/porn videos suggested (yes suggested not promoted). Needless to say. I will share a link. Hope you keep it up

Great tip, thanks! I'll probably put together a video on all the ways to get people to court...
yeah this is a pretty good way to get more Knights. I now see every unwed female courtier as a potential new Knight lol.

Awesome additions -- I should hire you to edit my script! ;)
Sometimes it's so bad. When your prowess is 2 I'd rather have no commander than my only child pregnant steward heir charge into combat lol.
