Yay Jill!! I’m so glad you’re adopting. Our last dog was from a breeder, but I convinced my parents to get our next dog from a rescue, and he’s my best friend now. We ended up fostering two more dogs through the same rescue. The first got adopted, and the second one we decided to keep. All of our pets are adoptees. #adoptdontshop (If anyone in Pennsylvania and surrounding states is looking to adopt a larger breed dog, please check out Mastiffs to Mutts. They get new dogs in everyday that are looking for homes. That’s where we got our two from)

That’s how I felt when I decided to get my puppers Onyx. I bought everything for him and my friends drove an hr away to pick him up. Reason being I had to work that day! I’m def late but I love your content and can totally relate. K byeee👏🏽✌🏽🤗😋

For the thinning shears you have to get the kind with the teeth on one side and the blade on the other!! They’re a godsend! The double teeth ones don’t cut 😂

Ur amazing ! Completely agree with the dog adoption rather than buying from breeders. I currently have 4 adopted dogs and there the most loving dogs ever, feels great to no what the poor things have been through and to improve there life is honestly so rewarding !

Woooo for adopting!!! I’m so glad that you are going down that path. Puppies are fun, but I love older dogs that are past that stage. The dog that is supposed to be with you will find it’s way to you. I currently have 3 dogs (all rescues) and I had an instant connection with all of them. I just knew they were meant to be in our home. Good luck to you! That will be one lucky pup!

Hey Jill I love your videos. And you’ve probably heard this a million times but the thing about German shepherds and Belgian shepherds is that they have very bad hips because of breeding. I had a German Shepherd and we had to put her down at the age of 12 (now doing get me wrong that’s a great age for a big dog to live up) because she couldn’t get up the stairs to our house. We had to spend thousands of dollars for her surgeries. Now German shepherds are really easy to train and are all round good dogs. I’m just letting you know about there bad hip even though you probably won’t see this comment. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!

ASPARAGUS lol omg I love you even more now for adopting! One of my doggos is adopted too! The other one is actually from a puppy store.. we unexpectedly bought another dog but he was "too old" so he was on sale and we asked what they do with the dogs they can't sell and they were like "oh we always are able to sel them" like.. no. lol not possible. so TECHNICALLY we rescued him lol. Hes my baby who I bought myself with my saved up money and love him with all that I have :D can't wait to see your puppers!
I am also interested in getting a German shepherd, I have wanted a dog for years and so I may just ask to start fostering some pups to prove to my parents I can take care of one. Good luck!!!

Elizabeth Duncan She is alright with her lame ness and the moment how ever the winter is the hardest time for her and Mickey is doing really well with his respiratory problem👍
My Mum is allergic to both cats and dogs, and we have both. If his allergies aren't too bad, you can actually get dogs that don't shed a lot, which doesn't set off the allergies as much.

I love how you're still trying simple snaffle bits :) A lot fo people would be like, "Whelp, lets go for a severe bit!" Meanwhile with the mare I used to ride she would ignore the snaffle.... we had her in a pelham but our trainer was like "Of she's doing ok without it!" Us riders: No... no she's not lol

If your Mattes pad doesn’t work out, you should try Total Saddle Fits wither freedom half pad. It has 3 shim pockets on either side and is more affordable than the mattes from what it sounds like. I got it recently for my shark fin withered horse and I am loving it! (:
