I just nabbed these IRs today. The Liquid pack is my favourite; I've never had an easier time dialing in a fantastic high gain tone. Also, the way the files are well-named and organized is much appreciated. I can't wait to record with them!
Hi Claude, everyone has their own sound - the way it should be! The IRs can get you closer to JPs sound, but it is not limited to that. The ideology behind the IRs is to give you really great sounding cabinets, the way we approach recording. There's no reason you couldn't partner these IRs with a clean, overdriven, or heavy gain tone.

are these suppose to be "mix ready" ir or "raw", so the user can do his own eq and mix?

Are the cabs for the 3 Album packs Traditional or Standard 4x12’s?
They're traditional Mesa 412, JP has always used them.
