"War" huh? America started that with Regan in the 80's right? Look how that's going for them. . . Legalise most of the drugs and you take the wars between the distributors of said drugs COMPLETELY off the streets. Tax it and then use the tax earned to offer better rehabilitation services to those who want to get off of said drugs.
I'm a middle-aged white conservative male. I have been walking these very streets for 13 years. Nobody has ever shown me any aggression. This is not a no-go area.
Drahcir Nevarc true, but I think things have changed since about 10-20 years ago. I live in Easton and overtime I realised that there are less gangs of people on roads nowadays.
St Paul's and easton stopped being no go areas way over 13 years a go you ain't been here long enough they will for ever be shit holes with a stabbing now and then but all shootings and turf wars over drugs stopped at like 2002
Haha, the area has be gentrified by middle aged white conservatives 😂😂 You wouldn't have walked through there in the 90's. I got robbed by the Aggi crew at knifepoint in the 90s. All good though, no hard feelings.
Oh my gosh😢 no development, or government investment programs went to Bristol all these years! I moved to Canada in the mid seventies from Bristol and in Toronto up until now they have a strong desire to always invest in people in work skills. BRISTOL was denied a lot of funding for employment centers, skills training, and resources for young people finishing secondary school. And ended up living in viscous cycles and spending life in prison. This is so unfair. Racism dose still exist towards blacks in England. What a shame!
Load of crap. You've been able to get any drugs class c to a all areas in Bristol for years. In fact you can get drugs anywhere in the country. Drugs are rife in the UK and lots of people do them. No matter what they do or who they are. Politicians, doctors, etc all social classes, Legalise the weed. And actually have the resources to help. Bristol has no proper sources or rehabs. Until they can provide more rehabilitation centres in this country we are going to be going round and round.
I used to go in that black and white cafe on the regular. Bit intimidating as I was a white non local from the country towns. Cheapest place to feed my addiction at the time tho. Thank fuck that's all over now.
The aggie crew the ones who been away and have changed be the better people to the young ones because they done hit and they no what they are talking about and the young ones will probably listen to them more than anybody else specifically the police
5.05 he talks about st pauls and easton having people who are mainly on drugs, but there are poor white areas and working white areas where drug taking is rife too. The only difference is some areas like the black ones such as easton and st pauls are sensationlised whereas the said crime in white areas is not. The officer in the video is Bias, and likely creates and shapes the bias, through his thinking by targeting those areas and people, therefore adding to stats which claim these areas are more prone to drugs. While the white areas ignored, never are patrolled for drugs therefore never have an accurate stats on their drug taking, dealing and usage.
its the whole city ask any white, black mixed, asian ask them where do you get crack, heroin they will say go Easton or st pauls,, the area isnt just even black these days its mixed to the max its just the place where its central and where its easy to do bizzo.. the police cant and will never sort it
+dominic clarke Fair enough, you're absolutely right, but I think he's referring to white people in places like Montypee & St Werbergs, who do go to SP for this purpose. I agree though, there needs to be a comparable focus on comparable behaviour in white areas, and there isn't.
drugdealing is just another business - as well as beeing a police officer... without criminals no police apparatus - and no police apparatus without criminals...
I lived in st pauls in the 80's, it used to police its self to a degree, i remember the black and white well, the late night shabines, the moon club. They were tough times but we had fun times as well. Im glad that i left once id had children though
OK lovely documentary spead the same love to the others as well mind such as HARTCLIFF, KNOWLEWEST, SOUTHMEAD, SNUFF MILLS, LARWANCE WESTON, KINGSWOOD, HENGROVE YE!
King Aggi was the biggest dealer in Bristol yeah? Then got sent to Prison and came out wanting to change things... Then chatting shit about the police sending people to prison doesnt work. Contradiction much
Stats show nearly 50% of criminals go back to jail within a year... so yeah if you are informed you know prisons are not fully solving offending... Nothing to do with contradiction...
difference....he was the most well known dealer in bristol not the biggest the biggest dealers in bristol don't even talk English and the police don't even any idea of thier existence
St pauls and easton are a lot worse than hartcliffe easton has always been active especially this year and southmead really that area is probably the least active out of the rough areas
They don’t giv two shits about all us man I grown up in sp and though the ninety’s like 1994 I was only 7 in Cabot school willow green school so I no Clinton was a boss real Don dadda trust me I remember erban pups sp and Levi Paul remi and dem man big up aggi
Depression - weed - paranoia - repeat . So many depresssed stoners in bristol and it's one great big circle of shit
@@sarahcrabbe7987 Well said. Weed is insidiously evil.
I lived in Bristol twice for a combined 6yrs,i love the place and made the most of it. Shame to see people waste the opportunities that are there.
A ceaseless war. And a colossal waste of resources. Isn't it time we took a new approach when it comes to illegal drugs?
You are 110% right. Prohibition must stop. Hope your good.

@moodswinggaming2972 People living in places like Vancouver where your proposals have been implemented find their lives made completely intolerable.

I got robbed by the Aggi crew at knifepoint in the 90s. All good though, I'm alive to tell the tale, no hard feelings
I used to go in that black and white cafe on the regular. Bit intimidating as I was a white non local from the country towns.
