Fast Eddie had a lot to do with their early songwriting achievments. He wrote awesome riffs.

@thejamesburns While not the ORIGINAL line up, these three are referred to as the CLASSIC line up, because it was with these men that Motorhead broke out into the mainstream with, and had their most success. being 50 years old, this is the band I remember back in the early 1980s, and the line up I think was best. Still have the old albums, and listen to them often.

The best line-up in my opinion. Phil and MIkkey are still a very solid replacement. It's the same with AC/DC. I still prefer Bon Scott over Brian Johnson. It's like beer vs. Jack (Aka a "Lemmy") of course I chose the Lemmy.

I've got to say the current line up is the best they've ever had.

.....I'd like to see Phil and Eddie both playing lead guitar(and not as a one off).
Latest lineup was generic. Phil is crap compared to eddie you obviously have no ear to hear how phil butchers every solo in tunes that eddie originally played.
