I love the little tips like mixing 2 tones together and splitting them into left and right, it’s truly resonating with the idea of recording ready tones and additionally you are teaching how to make most out of them.
Great tips and insight for what really is a revolutionary plugin... plethora of sounds at your fingertips with only one plugin instance on a track, reducing CPU usage... legit the best thing going right now!! 🎸🔥
I have had alot of trouble finding a good sound and along with ocd it's drove me crazy but this guitar suite has made my life easy again with a few more added feature hopefully in the future it will be perfect awesome job
I really liked the tone where the mids are really scooped in the amp section and then added back in the multi band EQ. That’s really interesting and idk how I never thought to try that.
@McRocklin Hey Thomas, How much longer till the introductory rate goes up? And will future updates be free? I'm sort of new to this computer DSP bit so pardon the silly questions. The demo is bad ass btw!
Hi Thomas, I've never been 100% happy with virtual amps. Would you still recommend the Blackstar Dual Distortion pedal? I can never find anything that gives me a lead sound that I like or be happy with, but your demo and leads on the Dual Distortion video seemed really good. The Dual Drive to my ears seem to be lacking tone options, and your the only person who has given the dual distortion a decent run with leads (as most youtubers demo dual drive for leads) . I cant seem to find any other lead examples (on YT) for a comparison that are any good. I value your advice (and playing) so wondering if you can give me a few tips as i'm thinking of mainly buying the dual distortion for leads now. I'm sick of going down the virtual amp rabbit hole and always coming to a dead end when I start messing about getting lead tones. 😑Thank you!
Hey Lee. Well I’ve retired from using hardware for my tones now lol, so I’m the opposite. Having said that, until recently it take an awful amount of work to get my tones. Have you tried the free demo of my new software, The McRocklin Suite by PolyChrome DSP: www.polychromedsp.com Might be worth a shot if you like my tones, otherwise why not buy the drive pedal you can always send it back for a refund if you don’t like it.
At 2.09min is just pure 🔥 👌 so TNT 10.000 lovers in one, the lyrics are so wasted on that song, but It's just pure True Awesome amazing Dope killing sound already though!! This is how you Make it Magical like You always do Thomas 🔥🔥🔥👌
I think the tones that use the third drive pedal (Riffer) will give more of that classic Eddie like sound. Especially when the pedal had the gain turned down, and the output pushed up. This pushes the amp into doing some really cool stuff, exactly like back in the day they would get high gain tones.
@@McRocklin Thank you Thomas. I am going to try that tonight. I really like how this DSP does not pop and crackle with digital noise. I do get some if I stack a bunch of drives. It is just trying to get that balance. Neural DSP amp plugins always pop and crackle on me. I am so happy with you guys did.
How do you get the two tones together in the same preset and assign one left and one right. The camera panned of your pc screen while you were discussing it.

Thank you! What is your favorite amp for lead tone (solo)?
It changes a lot, but the Gain amp with two OD pedals is my favourite
Hell ya ⚔
👋🏻
Thomas I got your plugin and have been looking for an Van Halen 1 tone. Do you have one? If not can you guys make a preset? Thanks for the fun!!!

What is your preferred setup for getting the guitar signal into your computer? All comments welcomed.
A thunderbolt audio interface for the lowest latency possible, that’s it.
How do you get the two tones together in the same preset and assign one left and one right. The camera panned of your pc screen while you were discussing it.
I used Ableton to do that, you could use Reaper or any other recording software to do the same.
@@McRocklin Oh duh LOL, I thought you were talking about your plugin was able to do that I was like, umm noooooo hahaha, thx.
how does the polychrome plugin sound with active pickups like EMG's will there be any issues with pickups like this as they are active?
From acoustic to high gain my emgs in my esp e-ii sound great! 👍🏻
there should be no issues.
you gotta remember that Fishman's are essentially active pickups, and they sound great in this
Thanks everyone for helping out, you're amazing. As mentioned, yep should be fantastic with EMG pickups!
The chuggz :D
🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
I bet my life you started playing guitar dreaming of a punk revolution hahahahaha, my fellow genius.
lol!
What woods and kiesel pickups do you like?
Ash and I prefer my Fishman mcr pickups where possible but kiesel do make nice pickups too.
@McRocklin by ash do you mean swamp ash. Which particular kiesel pickups do you like
Yeah swamp ash, I like kiesel passive pickups and my custom Fishman pickups.
Bob Bob Bob...
Sounds like a jar full of bees.
Really heavy bees
