Good tips. I'm glad you shared how the Wizard wasn't stacking evenly by just going down with the anchor line and making sure the line doesn't rub. Thanks.
Would I be better suited to mount my anchor wizard on the bow or stern? I usually fish rivers, might take my kayak on some smaller lakes. I usually try and go up stream so I have the current to help me back to the car when I am done fishing/tired. I like to anchor at a spot for a few minutes/break it down and move up.
I see alot of people mount one on the bow and another one on the stern. The bow mount would keep the stern pointed down stream if you are paddling up stream and the stern mount would keep the bow pointed down stream when you are floating back down stream. Also when you drop both anchors at the same time it keeps you pointed in the direction you want.
I love your videos on the Pelican Catch 110s. A question of your anchor system. Did you not install a safety float on your anchor line in case you snag?
Thanks for watching. I didn't add a float, I thought about adding one, but I ended up using a chain that I made up for the anchor. It works great and is just about impossible to get snagged. I do keep some wire cutters out to cut the rope just in case It gets snagged.
I plan on putting the same Anchor wizard and Yakattack trolley system combo on my 110. Have you had any problems with this combo where the tension of the anchor line pulls the anchor trolley back to the middle?
Thanks for watching. This combo has worked great. I drop the anchor where the rope goes thru the eyelet then move the trolley rope where I need it to position the kayak. When I'm ready to crank up the anchor, I move the trolley rope back to the eyelet then crank up the anchor.

That setup has been working great, it always releases and cranks up evenly. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing! Keep us updated on how it works on the water for you!
Will do!

@@kentuckybackwaters7717 Thanks for the video. Cheers
Nice upgrade. I have the same kayak and thinking of doing the same anchor setup. How is it working for you? Thanks for sharing!
