I didn't think it was mimed either. She may have recorded it earlier in the day to lip-sync on the show, considering she was dancing as well. Either way she was thoroughly entertaining!

Why does the sound change when flo rider comes on? It's seems earlier it's mimed (but she does sound live so maybe prerecord) and then when she sings after Flo that is definitely live x

You obviously didn't read my comment properly. I said she's been recording her album working with top record producers, not dueting with them! Justin Timberlake, Akon, Timbaland are artists but are also well known record producers and they also write material for other artists! Clive Davis has worked with some of the best singers in the world and more recently Leona Lewis! My point is if she was shit Cowell would not go out on a limb for her, after all he is a business man not their pen pal!

Trust me if she was shit Simon Cowell would not have had her sign a five album record deal worth millions. Secondly, Simon Cowell does not send people to the US to look at palm trees, she's been recording her album working with top record producers i.e. Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Clive Davis, Akon to name but a few.
