You can touch and use the kernel level on linux to create an AC, but they will not do that because it takes work. So they just create a fake root environment while cheaters will use real root. There is nothing prohibiting AC to use root level on Linux. if you want you could create a even better AC on root level on Linux compared to windows, but realistic there is no monetary incentive to do so.
I have a 7800x3d and I'm sort of upset they didn't think about having the 3d Vcache underneath instead of on top, heat rises obviously. Now they come out with the 9800x3d and solved the problem. I wonder if AMD did this deliberately for planned obsolescent to make money in the long run. Cause they know these hardcore gamers will buy this new chip. For my needs, the 7800x3d is fine, but in the future, who knows maybe I will get into another architecture, x86-64 is getting old. Thanks for the video, sad about the anti-cheat anti-linux problem; hopefully they solve this problem. You mention in the video about kernel signing, sounds like that might help stop the cheat problems.
I don't think Valve didn't tough on the revenue route to make games on Linux more accessible. But i think they want the devs to support Linux because of the users to not create an "i will only make Linux version accessible if you give me an advantage" .
many thanks to your excursion and streamshow; enjoyed more than i can express here ... tbf : chad didnt intend to steamroll you but i guess the next video will be a1rm4x on mac pro m4x gaming on linux 😊😅

Thanks for posting. Once Windows 10 dies going to be switching to Linux for gaming
