That is a tight space to put that drawbar lock pin in, and a finger pincher sometimes when I align mine.
Yeah there is a regular pin for the sliding drawbar, but I don’t have them either😂
    Side console.....nice!

Nice video. I was raised near Corunna, Michigan in the 40s, 50s, and 60s. We'd plant white winter wheat after the fly free date (Hessian Fly after frost). We'd use a John Deere planter with the hay seed attachment. Eaglegards...

Thank you! That sounds like a great way to grow up to me. That’s the first I have heard of white winter wheat. I guess they plant different varieties everywhere. You’re spot on about waiting til after the Hessian Fly free date. We still do too. I bet that old planter with the hay seed attachment would still get the job done if you needed it too. Thanks for watching!

@@richfarmer6143 The sad thing is most white winter wheat has disappeared in Michigan. White winter wheat is primarily used in pastries. Thanks for the reply.

I got to ask you - because you do it all the time. Before you get down off the tractor, why don't you throttle down? Last time I checked the price of diesel was through the roof. So why aren't you taking steps to reduce your diesel consumption? Also, with your engine running at high RPM it's tough to hear what you are saying clearly. Two good reason to get into the habit of taking an extra second to throttle down before you dismount.

Oh, well it never crossed my mind before. That sounds like a good habit to get into. And I apologize for the narration with the engine wound up. I’m just starting out on this RUclips thing, and am still learning. I’ll try to make a point of only narrating when the camera can actually hear me.

If that's cover crop one row not planting wouldn't really matter if it's for harvest what do you think the loss would be per acre on that row not dropping

That is a great question! I’m not sure how to calculate that. I wonder if someone on here could enlighten us?
