Awesome ride. Went on this so many times when it was brand new in the late 90s. It was without a doubt my favorite at the park. Batman, batman and robin, and medusa were the 3 I probably went on the most. There were others like Nitro, Viper and Great American Scream Machine back then. Nitro was great, viper was ok, scream machine was a pretty rough ride and gave me headaches, lots of head banging so I usually avoided it. But Medusa was so damn cool. Floorless was a brand new concept, it had that awesome lime green and purple color scheme, and it was buttery smooth with a great layout. I haven't been back to Great Adventure in probably 15 years though, as I moved away from the region as I got older in life...but I spent quite a few years of my childhood there. Me and my family would go every summer for a weekend from like 1997 to 2003. We always went on weekdays so the lines were quick, one year I swear it felt like we were the only ones there and there were zero lines at all. Show up to a ride, get on instantly. It was GREAT. Last year I went, the Superman coaster was brand new as well. Just randomly on a whim decided to look up the place to see if these rides still exist, and your video brought back some great memories lol.
Only complaint? Where’s my lime track and purple supports? Should have brought back the conestoga wagon and the teepee too! That would have been INSANE.
Just went here on Thursday, no lines and walked on Medusa 3 times in a row. I’m glad it’s called Medusa again. I don’t mind the DC theme but if they want to do it, the park needs to fully commit to it or section of specific sections for it. Have joker,Batman, Harley Quinn and dark night right next to each other is great but Superman not being near each other doesn’t gel with me. While having Nitro in that section feels off. Think a bit more Disney on execution as it would improve theming. At least the park was extremely clean.
six flags always messin somethin up they shuld have did the paint job the same color then they took parts of the track out medusa was fine how it was❤❤❤❤
Happy that medusa is back but i absolutely hate the new color scheme doesnt go together well at all. It is possibly the ugliest paint scheme ive ever seen on a roller coaster
I will always love the original Medusa colors but these are very nice as well

The lime and purple scheme did look kinda nice, might have to use it for a future No Limits concept!
