Programme Note:
“Wau Bulan” is a traditional folk song and dance from Kelantan, Malaysia. The name means “moon kite,” describing a Malaysian kite with a half-moon shape in its lower section. The song celebrate the kite’s beauty, which looks like a crescent moon rising in the sky.
