Its much easier to uninstall and reinstall the Idle air control valve from underneath the car.. this way you dont have to remove the throttle or any of the lines wires or all that extra work when it can easily be reached from underneath.. Check it out and Hope this helps.

My 03 Element 5spd is "idle surging" out of the blue. Upon startup it surges from 800-1200rpm constantly until turned off. I'm getting P0511, is that what this vehicle was doing? I was hoping to hear or see the issue before repair but excellent video!! (I do not have AC)
Im experiencing low idle on my 06. With the a/c on, it stalls at a stop light. I've cleaned the throttle body and replaced the PCV valve and that did nothing. Could this part be the problem?

I can't find the part for my 2007. Is the 2007 and 2006 the same part?
What about 2008 and newer? This only applies to 2003-07 vehicles with cable throttle....
