I once ran into Juan Gabriel's gardener and spoke about Juan Gabriel a while after his death. A really great man. The gardener told me that JG had no ego. He walked to the local grocer to do his own shopping saying hello to all the neighbors. Stopping to talk to anyone that wanted to talk. The gardener said JG was a faucet of money to the poor people of his neighborhood. He had his mother and grandmother living with him. Generous to the help in his house, could never say no to anyone needing a handout. He was so generous that when he died, his estate was almost non-existant. I wasn't a fan of his music (I make the excuse that I am third generation American and I was more into Disco and Motown) but I am a fan of the Man Juan Gabriel. He would have made a good angel.

I feel the same way. I think I’ve said this before. Yes, of course, the vast majority of Latinos, not just Mexicans, love Juan Gabriel. And many of us attended his concerts … more than once. But to have the opportunity to re-discover Juanga as Arab Man Reacts is discovering him really is something special. Your reactions, Arab Man, fill me with joy and pride, and why not… even tears. Juanga was a legend when he lived and he remains one having passed. ¡¡¡Viva Juan Gabriel!!!

I love your reactions to our beloved Juan Gabriel , this particular concert in 1997 has so many great renditions of his songs, I hope you can react to "Amor Eterno" ( a totally different version), "Hoy todos mis dias" "Abuso" etc. well the whole concert is a joy to watch. Once you enter our Divo universe it is impossible to get out of it.

7:24 of my favorite songs from Juan Gabriel! I grew up listening to him. My parents would play his songs and take us to watch his movies. I would have LOVED to have had the opportunity to take my parents to watch him in concert before he had passed! The way he sings from the heart and you can feel it is awesome! He was a great singer!

I'm 68 and grew up listening to JG. I always new that JG would be the greatest singer, composer and concert performer. My family and I had the honor of attending 3 of his concerts and each one was tremendous ! Sorry he not around anymore but he's music /voice with live on forever. I listen to his music all the time.
