They should just include a QR code in the user manual that links to this video, since it helped a LOT more than the manual itself. Thanks for making this :D
Thank you for this video. I will be getting my printer in the mail on Tuesday, so now I should be able to hit the ground running. Also, on April 30th, Nintendo will be partnering with Instax and offering their own printing app. Something else to get excited about!
This lady makes a great point here - the quality is not going to be nearly as good as what you see on your phone. Like maybe 50% as good in the beginning so adjust your expectations accordingly. Once you learn to play around with the settings it gets better but definitely plan on wasting a pack of film to practice using the app.
Great video thank you! I am cutting and pasting the following into comments on some videos I looked at like yours, in case what I've written also helps folk - "l have spent hours working out why I couldn’t use Party Print on the Instax mini Link 2. At the moment it seems you can't! But there is a workaround. Go to Settings. Change Link/Link 2 settings to Link (orange selection). Party Print will appear in the Fun menu instead of Instax Air (you just go back and select Link 2 to get the Air settings back). Select party mode. Scroll through instructions. Select Printer Owner. Get other people to scan the QR code. They have to go through lots of settings then click Party Mode and Other Person. You all then see each other in your menus. Select the collage shape. I'd turn off Surprise. You can all then click on the icon and upload a photo and click send to share your part of the collage with others. Once all done click Print. You can't add any effects and tbh it's not that great but I feel satisfied that I sussed out how to do it! Also, when using the Instax Air option to draw etc on the photo using the printer you need to point the green light on the printer at the camera on the iphone (not at the iphone screen). That took me a while to work out too!"
thank you so much for this video! i got confused at first with mine but your vid helped me out :) may i ask though, is it okay to leave the remaining film inside the printer while we don't use it or are we supposed to take them out after we turn them off?
No problem, I’m glad my video helped! To answer your question, it shouldn’t be a problem. I usually leave the remaining film inside, but just make sure to use them all before the expiration date. (:
I’m currently charging mine because I just opened it and it’s blinking green. Does that mean it’s fully charged or should it be green without the blinking? How do I know if it’s fully charged😭 help pls

I just got mine for Christmas! I opened it up and I’m using I’m trying to connect it to the app. For some reason it isn’t connecting to my Bluetooth even tho the device is fully charged and my Bluetooth is on. :(

Hey the photos once they print out will they look like an iPhone photo or will they look like a Polaroid photo with the Polaroidy filter that’s on it when you take a photo with a Polaroid camera
I printed my first photo and it doesn’t look as great as yours came out, it’s a bit blurry and the second one I took came out really dark. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Hi thank you for the video :) I have 2 questions do I have to finish the all films when I start print or I can keep it in the printer ? And if Ican keep the films and print sendcond time is it gonna be the photo or It just black sheet like the first time printed? Thank you
Hi, glad it helped you! As for your first question, I highly suggest for the films to be used asap to keep the best quality for your photos, because they do have an expiration date. Also, after the cover of the film (black sheet) is released, your pictures should be printed with no issues right after. The black sheet will only be printed/released once for every new pack of films 😊
I managed to print out three Polaroids and now it says there's an error with printing etc .. but there'd still 7 sheets left...and I know taking it out will ruin the Polaroids left
Oh, that's unusual. It should work as long as it's fully charged. However, there shouldn't be an issue with charging it with the film inside or removing the film as long as you remove it properly. (:
My printer just got home, put in a film, it prints the cover, but now when I want to print in reads that there isn’t film ): I’ve reseted it and still doesn’t read film. Any advice?

idk if something is wrong with mine. i just got mine today. it’s fully charged & when I turn it on it lights up yellow & wont let me connect. i need help :(
Hi, the color indication for fully charged is a solid green light. If it lit up yellow, that usually means the battery level is zero. Have you tried inserting the film and releasing the cover? That will automatically happen if the printer had enough charge (70-100%).
@@jncb.15 thank youu, i got it to work. i really appreciate it but i got a dumb question, in order to know that it’s turned off, the led light thingy isn’t suppose to be off right? cause if that’s the case then idk how to turn it off completely, i click the button but nothing seems to happen
Hi! It automatically releases the cover of the film once you insert it in the printer. It does that too for regular films (even if the cover was released already) every time it’s newly inserted in the back. That means your printer is charged and ready to use.
Hi, you should make use of the films before the expiration date. If a film pack is already loaded in your printer though, use it as soon as possible as per the manual.
