Hello Gayle and Miko ❤ Loved all the Winter/Christmas makes. I especially loved the gingerbread man with the dangly bits, I have to take a look at those patterns.
Hi Ladies! Gayle, your dolls are wonderful! The sisters are super sweet. I need to get that book!! Your confetti dolls are so charming. Your collection is growing! I do have the Madeleine Dog pattern too. She is on my list of things to make. The dangly Gingerbread man is perfect for the tree. It would be cute to put bells in the hands and feet, then he could dangle and jingle. I'm going to check her out after finishing here. Love all your makes. See you in the next one!
Hi Mary🤗! Thank you so much❤. Yes, I absolutely adore Lulu Compotine and definitely recommend her book. I love it and have enjoyed each project out of it so far and I'm sure I'll love the rest when I do get to them😉. I know right?! I have been busy building my Crochet Confetti collection. As I mentioned, I may need to revamp the display or expand the shelf to accommodate the growing collection🙃. I love all the freebie Pica Pau patterns on the Hobbii website. I really want to make more. There are so many amis on the list and so little time, am I right😅? Oh what a great idea!! I love it! Jingle Dangles😍❤! I would TOTALLY try it😁. Next one for sure, thanks for the idea Mary! Brilliant! Thank you so much for hanging out. See you around🤓
Hi Marlene 🤗 and welcome to your community, we are blessed to have you. ❤️ It’s so nice to finally find your people isn’t it? I’ve mentioned some channels from time to time in my videos, so hopefully that’ll help you find other podcasters in our community. So glad to meet a fellow maker! Hope your new year is going well and you’ve been able to squeeze in some crafting time for yourself. See you around Marlene😃
I love your gingerbread man he is so cute. I am making Celia at the moment for one of my granddaughters for Christmas she is lovely. Thank you for showing all your beautiful makes. Love from Ireland
Hi Maria🤗! I love him too. I also love the real gingerbread cookies. The stronger, the better😋. Oh what a lucky granddaughter, she’ll love Celia for sure. Thanks for watching all the way in Ireland❤️
Hi Gail & Miko. Your toys are perfection and such a delight.!. With their own personalities., beautiful colours. And textures. You never fail to impress me Gail. Love ❤️ your dolls.mandy uk 🇬🇧 xxx😊❤
So enjoying you being back!! I’m getting so many more ideas from you. And you encouraged me so much a few months ago when I made my first doll. You are such an inspiration to me as a beginner doll maker. Thank you!!! That gingerbread ornament is darling!!!!
Hi Tris🤗! I love your name btw🤓. Thank you so much❤. Oh I'm so glad to hear it😁. Ever since I whined about "being alone" as an ami doll maker, so many of you have come out and mentioned that you've made a doll or are planning to make a doll and it fills me up with so much joy😍. I love it! Bring on the doll makers!! . . . I say😁. Good luck on your first doll project, not that you need it😉. But definitely have fun doing it😊. Isn't he? I love him to bits. He's already dangling on my tree limb😁. Thanks for hanging out Tris. See you around🤓!
Thank you Emme. It’s good to be back and I hope that i can be more consistent. That’s the hardest part about this YT channel. Thanks for hanging out with us😁❤️
Hi Gayle and Miko 👋 You just brightened my day! Lupus has got me down lately and I am all alone on Thanksgiving and your video showed up and put a smile on my face 🙂 I love hearing about all the creative artistry you put into your dolls and other makes, you inspire others and teach so well ❣I have been meaning to go over and watch Cassandra's eye tutorial, they look so awesome and the safety eyes are getting so hard to put on. Merry Christmas to your family 🎄⭐🎅💚❤
Hi Sheryl🤗! Awww, so glad we were able to keep you company on Thanksgiving❤. Hang in there my friend. I know nothing of the suffering you have to endure on a daily basis, but I'm glad that you are able to find comfort in something❤❤❤. Often times it's our crafts that help to keep us grounded isn't it? That's a great point that you bring up. Some of those safety eyes are the darndest to put on and our aging hands don't exactly help the cause🙃. Yet another good reason to do embroidery eyes😁. Thank you so much for spending part of your day with us. Have a good night my friend❤.
Hi Erin🤗! Thank you very much. That's awesome! I haven't even thought about checking mine. But I already knew I wanted a copy for keeps anyway, so I guess that's why I never bothered looking🙃. But what a great idea! The local library is a great resource to check out pattern books, especially if the designer is new to you. Thanks for hanging out🤓. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
Hi Leora🤗! Thank you❤! Ohhh! I always get excited whenever I discover new-to-me amigurumi designers. I always think 🤔. . . "how did I not know them sooner?" The same is true for youtubers😅. So glad you found some new ami designers. Thanks for watching and hanging out. Happy Thanksgiving🦃!
Love all your makes They are so adorable! You inspired me to buy the book, "Lulu's Crochet Dolls". I can't wait for mine to arrive. I checked the 3 issues on Madeleine the dog and they were corrected on my copy. They must have heard you! You may want to download a new copy. Happy Holidays!
@@lindas918 Hi Linda🤗! Oh I’m so excited for you. Let me know how the book turns out for you. I’m a big fan as you already know😊. Oh that’s definitely good to know. I will definitely download the new copy. Thanks for the update👍😃❤️
Hi Gail, oh my goodness you are spoiling us all with your videos this month. I have the lulu book and have made two dolls so far. It’s such a lovely book. Ca I ask what hook size you did them in? Mine are done using yarn art jeans with a 2.5 mm hook, so I know they will be smaller, but now I have seen yours I need to do them in a bigger size too! Keep the gorgeous dolls coming x
Hi Michelle🤗! Thanks, I've got goals to bring my toy "body pile" down🙃. Yes, I have been thoroughly enjoying working the doll patterns out of the Lulu book. With Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton yarns, I typically use a 3.5mm E hook. I have been recently using thinner yarns and a smaller hook for some of my projects. Surprisingly, I am really enjoying it. I thought that the 2.5mm hook would've broken my hands, but nope! I'm still alive 😅. Thanks for watching and hanging out today😁.
I know right😁?! I have to be careful how I say things, especially on the internet😆. LOL I'm guilty of the same. I can't just do one project. There's always a lineup going on. But then it gets me into trouble sometimes when I don't finish a project. That's when my UFO pile starts to get out of hand🙃. I think most of us have a pile of that taking up space in our closets . . . right😶?
Those are amazing dolls! I can tell you work hard at perfecting your craft! How do you change the standing legs to become sitting legs? I have a pattern with standing legs that I would rather have the bending legs.
Hi @DollfieMew 🤗 and welcome! Thank you very much, I take pride in learning the various crafts I work with❤. As for modifying a pattern to turn it from standing to sitting, I make mention of it in my upcoming video. I also share a free resource where you can learn how to do exactly that. Essentially you'll be working a doll with bending legs at the hip. But once you do it, you'll know how to modify an existing pattern with standing legs in much the same way. So be on the lookout for that video. I'm currently editing it and hope to post it soon. Thanks for watching and happy holidays!
Hi Gayle & Miko! I love all your videos and your work is absolutely amazing 🤩. I’m getting ready to start my Celia doll and I was curious what size hook you used for yours. Did you use the suggested size hook she has in the book or a different size hook? Keep up the beautiful work!
Hi Lisa🤗! Thank you very much❤! To be honest, for the most part, I always ignore all yarn recommendations and hook size recommendations when it comes to crochet amigurumi patterns. The reason is because I have my own personal preferences when it comes to making my amigurumi. Just a little tidbit, I have a tight tension when I crochet. With that said, I have my own go-to yarns and alongside the yarns, I have my go-to crochet hook sizes. My go-to 4 weight acrylic yarn is Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn and I usually use a 3.5mm E or 3.75mm F hook, depending on my mood. My go-to 4 weight cotton yarn is Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton and I usually use a 3.5mm E hook with it. I hope this helps😁. Have a wonderful day and Happy New Year🍾!

Thank you. Body pile makes me laugh. My husband asked me the other day, how many projects I have on the go? I said who knows! As I stared a new one 😂❤
