- As Beijing residents are told to limit time outside because of pollution, some of the 10 million residents in Shinjiazhuang, China's most polluted city, who are forced to wear masks every day, are starting to fight back. Asia Correspondent John Sparks reports.
The rich are all moving to the west, and all the poor people have to live in poluttion.

3. Air pollution which causes global warming which leads to the depletion of their sources of water.
4. Rapidly aging population which leads to lack of young workers to render services in the future which also leads to more expensive workforce.
5. Cancer cities.
6. The ire of other countries affected by China's pollution.
7. Their severe disrespect for other territories and the destruction of one of the most important sources of fish due to their greed.
8. Bad investments on housing.
China is self-destructing.

I remember in Sydney Australia the smog we had in the 60s and 70s.
Was much worse before then as we had coal fired generation spewing out soot only 5km from the city center.
It took the experts 100 years to put the power stations out west of the blue mts and run power wires into the city...
Today you cant buy a bag of coal if your life depended on it but we export millions of tonnes every year.

Misspelled the city's name in the video and description. It's not Shinjiazhuang, it's Shijiazhuang.
Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA had 500+ AQI readings in 2021.

Beijing is polluted but now New Delhi has crossed Beijing and reached at the pollution level of 500AQI I used to leave in Delhi,visibility is very low due to smog. I am sure if government would not take any strong action then no one can survive in the cities like New Delhi and Beijing
The Delhi pollution wasn't the governments fault. Polluted winds flew from the Punjab's mountains into Delhi.
India's emissions: 3.9 billion metric tons per year, China's emissions: 11.47 billion metric tons per year. Yeah, doesn't take a genius to figure out which country is much worse at pollution.
THIS IS WHERE CLIMATE ACTION IS NEEDED!!!!
It should be ShijiaZhuang （石家庄）instead of Shinjiazhuan

Raipur, India - 144 µg/m3 of PM 2.5. ...

Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia - 152 µg/m3 of PM 2.5. ...
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - 156 µg/m3 of PM 2.5. ...
Allahabad, India 170 µg/m3 of PM 2.5. ...
Gwalior, India - 176 µg/m3 of PM 2.5. ...
Zabol, Iran 217 µg/m3 of PM 2.5.
But still out of 500 cities in world more than 400 of them are Chinese
now there is more of the polluted cities.

The rivers and grounds are still very contaminated all around china. Nothing is being cleaned up.
No hate but India have to minimize the population first then plant trees, clean rivers , strict rules, and make slums appropriate to live in . but politics there Is politics everywhere and that's why india is not improving and if we don't improve in our nature we will have the same condition as China. no hate, I'm a proud Indian

A properly build coal fired power station will emit low pollution, these low power coal fired power stations are bad. Diesel powered vehicles emit far more toxic pollution as they operate in our cities and suburbs close to residents.
By the looks of it, it seems like a regular fog that a appears because of cold weather.
