Problem is that NVDA is addicted to the datacenter, their mobile offerings are terrible. Inference needs to happen at the edge (mobile) and training will not have the same amount of demand as time goes on. NVDA is a major bet on aggregation of resources (compute) but this is cyclical as we have seen dozens of major shifts in this industry. During a recession, investors must understand where and how to distribute capital in order to hedge against downturns while being profitable. If you are unable to navigate the market, speak with an expert advisor.
Several individuals minimize the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.

I moved from Tampa to Santa Clara a few months ago and I’m thinking of purchasing a single family home there, but with real estate prices currently through the roof, is it still a good idea to buy a home or should I invest in stocks for now and just wait for a housing market correction? Looks like NVDA, TSM and AMD and AVGO are strong buys this week.
well you could put a downpayment on a home and as well diversify as much as you can into Ai, energy and big pharm. stocks like Pfizer and JnJ, ASML, MLM and S&P 500 ETFs. I’d suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I making a whooping $738k in Q4 last year
There are many advisors to choose from. But I work with *Layan Talia Chokr* and we've been working together for years and she's fantastic. You could check her if she meets your requirements. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with
yep, this is a good point. All things taken into consideration we all understand Waymo is in the stone age in comparison, therefore hearing "experts" talk about Waymo in this context is simply ridiculous :P
As an FSD user I still disengage every ride, but it’s always unnecessary. For example, the car wants to change lanes, but I’d rather it not. I suspect that lots of other people do this, and it’s artificially lowering the intervention free numbers Gary cites. I think my car would do fine if I was in the backseat.
I never hear anyone discussing the large effect different drivers have on intervention numbers. Some drivers have been using FSD for years and can go for miles without an intervention. There are many drivers that disengage because they have not built a trust relationship with the software. They disengage any time they feel uncomfortable. This group would skew the disengagement numbers much higher. My personal disengagement numbers are very low even though I live in a city with very few Teslas. I'd love to see the raw numbers.
Even if tesla only goes up to $500 , a long call option into 2026 will make you a millionaire. But it’s not going to $500, it’s going to over a thousand in 2026.
Currently ALL the “autonomous” taxi companies have a supervisor sitting at a game console to get the car out if whatever situation it cannot handle. There’s no reason TSLA can’t start out with that as well. At first they might have one person monitoring 5 cars, then as the software improves one person monitors 10, then 50, then 100 cars. Eventually human support can be completely phased out over the years. What’s the issue with that? I don’t see any.
If Tesla has 1M cars in use and 5% are using FSD then one person monitoring 5 cars means they'd need 10,000 people. Now that's a very rough napkin estimate but 10k operators (and their stations) is clearly impractical.
@@LinzDubNZ Agree. This function too has to be automated. Its why I believe either of the two large AI clusters Tesla is building will be the brains that monitors and assists in the vast majority of 'stuck' cases. Well, a crude parallel can be made with elevators. The only times you see elevator operators today is when politicians want to hand out jobs. But at one time, every car had an operator and during heavy demand there was a human "starter" in the lobby. Robot cars are much more complicated but so are the "chips" and the AI.
I suppose Gary Black is seeing FSD unsupervised as not only not a certainty, but >24 months away which puts it after the compact car. My personal hypothesis is that unsupervised will be solved for most US roads in 18 months.
To use your analogy if you constantly skate to where the puck is at instead anticipating where its going to be you will never catch up and always be behind.
Gary is wrong, though... You do not have to hold onto the wheel constantly .. The camera does need to recognize that you are paying attention though...🤷
That information is no longer true. FSD requires the driver to keep his/her head upright and looking straight ahead to prevent the “Nag”. It is not necessary to hold the steering wheel at all. Just be vigilant and pay attention at all times
Anyone attempting fsd needs to be 98% of the way to "complete" The remaining 2% is trying to create an insurable product. Like walking out of a desert with no points of reference, you have zero legitimate means to say how close you are to out of the desert until youre actally out
"Tesla are trying to produce as many cars as they can..." however, they cut production in Germany and China not long ago, and haven't built any new factories. The India investment stalled and nothing appears to be happening in Mexico. It would appear to me that demand is much lower than anticipated, and they can already produce enough cars.
I tried the latest 12.5.4. It is much better than previous but i found that on my hw3 m3 it freaks out when direct sunlight is blasting onto the camera system. This happened around 5pm in washington seattle area. They need to fix this as well as ability to operate in rain.
“Intervention free drives.” My habits are learnable - to and from work 5 days a week. Same home. Same work. Same route. How quickly would FSD learn that?
I drive the same route to/from work every day. I know where I am likely to intervene. Not every time, but still the same places. I do not believe that Tesla is working the more remote regions yet. Once Dojo is complete, then I expect to see rural areas worked on more. Until then, I know when I will likely need to intervene. Still buying stock with extra cash as best I can.
Robotaxi without FSD is useless so the unveiling won’t do anything positive for the stock.. fds becoming level 4 or 5 or the 25k car will have a bigger impact
There's no point in building a robotaxi until FSD is solved. And I don't believe there will ever be a $25k car. Due to inflation, I think $28-30k will be as low as possible.
All credit to SMR , and to add to the point there’s a tipping point, like the video hire store there all gone same will happen to gas stations, with Tesla semi leading the way forward, soon enough the tipping point will come and you won’t be able to find a gas stations
I’d like to point out that on October 11th we’ll get abundant headlines saying how they are adjusting their TSLA price target… - Hey. We got fricken Nostradamus over here!
Tesla robotaxi configuration is 2dr? No steering wheel? Who will buy the car? How can you produce to scale if there is no Full FSD and no steering wheel?
First real FSD in current models. Probably initially limited to certain cities, certain states. Secondly, while FSD-licences start to increase, initial release of new modelS (with wheel & pedals) After new modelS are ramping up, those new modelS wiil get built without steering wheel & pedals.
They say that tesla has a 3% intervention rate, but I'm sure they have a heat map of where these 3% happens and could just tell the robotaxies to not go there
It would be perfectly reasonable for Tesla to temporarily map some locations to run a Robotaxi in - as they seem to be doing in the Warner Bros lot. This gets their Robotaxi on the road, with Tesla gaining experience in running the service, while FSD chips away at the remaining few percentages of interventions.
Don't you think robotaxi will be deployed in Las Vegas tunnels first? If only for satisfying regulators. Small steps. And there is the tunnel at Giga Texas, which should be operational long before any robotaxis will be observed in the wild. Health & Safety rather than regulators there.
Surely the model 2 and robotaxis are inextricably linked ? It would make sense to build a model 2 with 4 seats and steering wheel/ pedals etc on the same platform as a 2 seat robotaxi in order to achieve the scale required?!
I know autonomy and the compact car will move the needle massively but just wait until Optimus hits mass market. That's what I'm most excited about. The market is already there and the margins will be mind-blowing!
Yes unlock fsd in many rural areas that don't have interventions, NOT CITIES, open fsd in non intervention routes across US, that would kick waymo's ass on a reality scenario.
Lower interest rates provide cheaper financing but the DXY loses buying power, I.E. much greater inflation. Keep in mind 50 basis points or 1/2% sounds small but is an absolutely massive move!!!
COUNTER-POINT- Igs Life-Style & Diet- NOT JUST VITAMINS &ELECTROLYTES- HERBAL CLEANSE & DETOX Also plates a Role - with Daily 30 minutes of direct sunlight exposure - “DAILY
32:12 If they have a compact I dont know where te are hideing it: For the last month or so there has been privacy curtains around the lower floor of the Austin factory parking garage. So, they are hiding something in there, like maybe early production/prototype model 2s.
SMR - Based on experience with FSD....absolutely NOT - Tesla can NOT go unsupervised yet. The middle of the drive - awesome - the summon/pickup, the starting, and stopping (end trip) an ABSOLUTE STRONG, NO WAY any time soon!
If you wait till FSD is solved and modeled in you are now paying over a thousand a share so I personally loaded up on the $100 dip and the $140 dip and I always add under $180. I have my position so I can sit back and relax.
Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in 2024 with the markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
Just ''buy and hold'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder
@@AmandaRenee-z8h Very true, you can be passively involved in the markets and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. Tesla could do the same as Waymo TODAY. Drivers in cubicles supervising every RoboTaxi ride, still more efficient than a person in the actual vehicle and 1/4th the hardware cost of the Waymo. Then like FSD, with each revision, less and less driver (in this case remote) interaction. Am I missing something technically impossible?
Fed moves have nothing to do with interest rates other than the overnight lending rate between banks. SMR has little understanding of economics but enjoy his content.
I wonder if Tesla could make a specific effort in a specific location to gain more data and train the AI for just that location. You could get an MVP per city to actually start a robotaxi. The AI compute may allow to do that. They select a few cities with a good business case, where there is no Waymo or there is a real need. What do you think?
TSLA stock surges again.... oh wait it was already higher 2 month ago and 6 months and 12 months and what about the juicy 400usd 3 years ago? good times back then and i am looking forward to such numbers again.

All credit to SMR , and to add to the point there’s a tipping point, like the video hire store there all gone same will happen to gas stations, with Tesla semi leading the way forward, soon enough the tipping point will come and you won’t be able to find a gas stations
I’d like to point out that on October 11th we’ll get abundant headlines saying how they are adjusting their TSLA price target…
- Hey. We got fricken Nostradamus over here!
Do you think xAi is safe from the flooding happening in Tennessee?
Oliver looks like he was pulled by his right ear for getting in trouble when he was young.
His Ha ought to be doing that now.😂
Tesla robotaxi configuration is 2dr? No steering wheel? Who will buy the car? How can you produce to scale if there is no Full FSD and no steering wheel?
First real FSD in current models. Probably initially limited to certain cities, certain states.
Secondly, while FSD-licences start to increase, initial release of new modelS (with wheel & pedals)
After new modelS are ramping up, those new modelS wiil get built without steering wheel & pedals.
As long as nobody throws a steel ball at a Robotaxi I'll be happy...
😂
They say that tesla has a 3% intervention rate, but I'm sure they have a heat map of where these 3% happens and could just tell the robotaxies to not go there
It isn’t location based, it is scenario based. Edge cases can occur anywhere.
How can a Waymo intervention even occur if the operator isn't watching? E.g. those videos of Waymo going down a one-way street in the wrong direction.
A city block where Robotaxi can drive unsupervised is called SHANGHAI
Lost Gerbil is now a troll
Don't you think robotaxi will be deployed in Las Vegas tunnels first? If only for satisfying regulators. Small steps. And there is the tunnel at Giga Texas, which should be operational long before any robotaxis will be observed in the wild. Health & Safety rather than regulators there.
For those who believe in TA, that chart at 24:00 looks like an upside down H&S.
10/10 better be The Phantom Menace with droids deploying. Cmon Elon.
Kinda hope it dips after 10/10 so I can buy some more at cheaper prices 😂
Fr 😂
Scale is Everything
Just ask a fish, or a dragon
Look at the guilt of being wrong and FOMO will kick in soon.
How did I get scammed out of all my bitcoin from the Tesla website?
If u don’t give Kim Kardashian Gordon Johnson or Ross Gerber conversation time they’ll go away
Surely the model 2 and robotaxis are inextricably linked ? It would make sense to build a model 2 with 4 seats and steering wheel/ pedals etc on the same platform as a 2 seat robotaxi in order to achieve the scale required?!
Tesla is not a car company, but why does Gary judge Tesla only from the cars they produce?
I know autonomy and the compact car will move the needle massively but just wait until Optimus hits mass market. That's what I'm most excited about. The market is already there and the margins will be mind-blowing!
Conhecimento nos liberta essa marca es nossa favorita e seus produtos são verdadeiros sonhos de consumo de todos já
How many robotaxis do you believe Tesla will have on the road in 2 years???
17:30) WAYMO “27,000 miles!…” Or, “1 mile, 17,000 times?”
You need stats on who intervenes. I bet the 3% is the same people intervening on every drive. They just don’t know how to trust it yet.
Yes unlock fsd in many rural areas that don't have interventions, NOT CITIES, open fsd in non intervention routes across US, that would kick waymo's ass on a reality scenario.
A Question is, which do investors Value Higher, or estimate will have a Higher Uptake?
Lower interest rates provide cheaper financing but the DXY loses buying power, I.E. much greater inflation.
Keep in mind 50 basis points or 1/2% sounds small but is an absolutely massive move!!!
COUNTER-POINT- Igs Life-Style & Diet- NOT JUST VITAMINS &ELECTROLYTES- HERBAL CLEANSE & DETOX Also plates a Role - with Daily 30 minutes of direct sunlight exposure - “DAILY
What do you make of AMCI's latest tests of FSD?
American Movie Channel?
32:12 If they have a compact I dont know where te are hideing it: For the last month or so there has been privacy curtains around the lower floor of the Austin factory parking garage. So, they are hiding something in there, like maybe early production/prototype model 2s.
“privacy curtains?” Is the compact shy?
SMR - Based on experience with FSD....absolutely NOT - Tesla can NOT go unsupervised yet. The middle of the drive - awesome - the summon/pickup, the starting, and stopping (end trip) an ABSOLUTE STRONG, NO WAY any time soon!
But tesla was offering 1.9 percent interest in US
Which is likely more beneficial than reducing price
If you wait till FSD is solved and modeled in you are now paying over a thousand a share so I personally loaded up on the $100 dip and the $140 dip and I always add under $180. I have my position so I can sit back and relax.
Unions are the greatest hurdle to Tesla taxis. Bus drivers, taxi drivers unions and these are just the tip of the iceberg.
Uber slaughtered unions.
hmmm, i wonder how Gary would model biopharma - zero, until they get FDA approval.
It would be interesting if they give guidance about what is the % of taxi fleet vs private fleet they project
2:40
People are buying the rumour. Wall Street does that pretty regularly.
Possibly the gen3 robot prototype as well
10/10 ROBOT WILL BE DRIVING THE CAR
The car *is* a robot, and will be driving itself.
would be cool if the passengers are optimus bots lol
10k miles without "intervention" or getting Stuck isnt even that good. i wonder how many Miles Tesla goes without getting "stuck"
I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.
@@SamuelTimothy-ey9tr This is striking! could you share info of your advisor, please? i'm in dire need of asset allocation and standing at a crossroads, whether to sell-off or keep holding my positions, my portfolio is retrogressing bad as of late
*Layan Talia Chokr* is her name,You are most likely to find more info when you look her up on the internet.
@@SamuelTimothy-ey9tr Thank you! I entered her full name into my browser, and her website came out on top. I filled her form and i hope she gets back to me soon
Very wild for them so called bull to compare robotaxi to waymo he doesn’t even understand what he is talking about
Fascinating chart 16:26 !! ❤❤❤
In the future 100% of all vehicles made. A bit crazy
Gary Black constantly referred to and constantly ignorant of the facts, makes no sense.
“ Tesla has a scaleable business “ - Eureka Batman who knew
Fed moves have nothing to do with interest rates other than the overnight lending rate between banks. SMR has little understanding of economics but enjoy his content.
Orange man bad had more to do with increased rates and inflation with his tariff policies than the fed increasing the overnight lending rate
I think the odds of a positive surprise is good with the 2 month delay. Fast money worst show to listen too
Waymos days are numbered
No don't let Tesla release a model 2. Bad for business. Effort for Model 2 should only be for robo taxis.
Disagree
@@jackarnold3290 ya the model 2 would help advance the main objective
He’s usually right
I wonder if Tesla could make a specific effort in a specific location to gain more data and train the AI for just that location.
You could get an MVP per city to actually start a robotaxi. The AI compute may allow to do that.
They select a few cities with a good business case, where there is no Waymo or there is a real need.
What do you think?
Tesla is doing the reveal at a Hollywood “set” … FSD mapping will be on point for announcement …. momentum
Nice!
Who needs a cab for 1 city block?
TSLA stock surges again.... oh wait it was already higher 2 month ago and 6 months and 12 months and what about the juicy 400usd 3 years ago?
good times back then and i am looking forward to such numbers again.
