Reading with a cup of coffee is my lifetime favorite self-care activity, but I have to include watching a Diane in Denmark video as well. When I’m feeling a bit blah about upcoming tasks, I spend a few minutes with a past video, and it always gets me up and moving again!
Really appreciate three videos a week. A lot of hard work but I’m sure so many of us need the motivation. As soon as you talk I feel I need to do something at the same time. I did my nails a navy blue colour yesterday. 💙 I love to read! I keep track of all my books and reading on the Goodreads app. As for meditation, it's not exactly my thing. But I do sit with coffee and stare out the window, lost in my thoughts. Thank you for the 3 weekly videos. Take care!
Hi Diane..all of your suggested missions are part of my daily routine. I walk 30 minutes first thing in the morning by myself to clear my mind and enjoy nature and in the afternoon with my bestie and the dogs. Coffee is always in my rotating seasonal cups. I read after lunch and before bed. I also manage my weekly and zones. Hooray for me 👏🏻👏🏻. And it is all because of your teachings and encouragement. Thank you.🌸
Went to a small neighbouring community today and popped into a few independent and new-to-me shops for a browse then went for a brief walk in the sunshine.🌞I always read something before turning the light out.📚😴
Hi, Diane, I caught a cold and find it even difficult to get up… but I’ll have a bath 🛀 and will do my nails 💅… and have a lot of tea and Father Brown Stories in a book. I watched the series in TV yesterday and realized I never READ Chesterton, so I ordered some stories as an e book… a lot of self care today, not forgetting to prepare a simple Minestrone and doing my swich and swipe 🧼🧽. I'm perimenopausal and having a lot of trouble with sleep right now so I'm taking the easy route this week and focusing on breathing. I'll give it a try when I go to bed to see if it helps me sleep. 💤

I'm doing 2, 3 and 4. I'm always reading something, one of my favorite things to do. I'm taking a yoga class, where we do alot of deep.breathing and some meditation. Tomorrow, I'm going out with hubby to do some snowshoeing, a new hobby before the deep freeze comes

I’m going to get outside, absolutely freezing here in New England, but that’s what winter coats are for! Thank you for reminding me to keep the weekly upkeep clean focused and simple. When my husband gets back from his current work trip we will start watching Vienna Blood and Miss Scarlet! I spent 40 minutes shovelling this morning so that was my fresh air and exercise. It was my yoga class yesterday so I think my self-care today will be a walk again. I visited the beautiful gardens at Aberglasney this week; snowdrops, cyclamen, hellebore, mahonia, and everywhere new shoots and new buds.
Painting my nails tomorrow and planning my 'out & about' outfit for Sunday so my nails can coordinate. What fun! So needed amidst that seemingly endless to-do list. Thank you Diane!
Thanks Diane for the fast and fun reminders! I haven’t bought flowers painted my nails this week; we have a wedding on Friday and a party on Saturday so it was great to be nudged. Also, keeping up with the house, I was able to invite people back for a cuppa after being out to lunch at a local restaurant. You are such a gem, thanks again 🌸

Diane is so right about the Flylady system being the best. It completely changed my life. Diane is the best at helping it work for anyone. Don't give up! Even doing it 5 minutes a day will make a difference at the end of just one month. Diane has a video for all of it on this channel.
