    Hello,
    I am Melissa.
I am hunting for a planner to replace my PersonalPlanner planner. I was looking at the plum paper review you made and several others. I found this tiny company owned by two sisters and I thought you might enjoy their daily layout. You see my weekly spread does not fit everything I want and I have been desperately searching for a daily that includes a monthly budget, a meal prep, grocery list, a week at a glance, and daily pages. I found it. I think you might enjoy their set up. The Colibri planner artisan paper co. I am still on the fence about purchasing; however, I am between the personal planner again (but I am irritated that I have out grown this system), the plum paper, the passionate penny pincher, the erin condrin, orrrrrrrrr the Colibri Daily planner. I am heavily considering the colibri.
    Warmly,
    your new subscriber
    Melissa

I use the contact pages to plan our family summer vacations. The sections are already divided for me so I just cover up the graphics with dot stickers and plan each section....places to eat, outdoor activities, indoor activities, etc... I convert the password page into a to-do list for the next year....and convert the columns with stickers....column 1 is the month/date...column 2 is the event....and column 3 is for notes. That way, when I get a new planner, I transfer all of these events on sticky notes over to the month it's on. Seems to work pretty well and keeps me on track with things.

Olivia this is AMAZING! Adding this to my ideas list to finalize what I want to do to make the most use of my planner. You are freaking on it!

I love what you did to the day at a glance page! Would you ever consider doing a page for the EC planners?!

The goals pages are really cool! I am intrigued by your full-page sticker use. Can't wait to see how they come together!

I do not see an option on the website to have the shaded boxes on the bottom of the vertical layout. Was that something that you requested?

Hi Haylie! This planner comes as is! This is the Plum Paper 7x9 Vertical Goals Planner. 💗☺️

@@willowpaperdesign I just don’t see the shaded bottom lines when I go to order online. It looks like it has lines all the way to the bottom

Shoot! I just double checked the preview for the Vertical Goals planner on their website. I see they show the shaded box at the bottom in the preview. The undated planners differ slightly but those are in a separate section on the website. If you are looking to order the planner I reviewed in todays video, it would be the Horizontal Goals Planner & comes as shown in the video. Hope this helps! 🥰

I’ve been interested in the hard cover. But I’ve seen insight from other planner creators that it’s not as easy as the original covers to open and close, or to fold back to write on one side. What are your thoughts on that? How do they compare?

Hi Krista! Good question! The hard cover definitely slides different & I do tend to be extra cautious. I think it’s more because there isn’t a protective cover so I’m trying to keep it pretty because it’s brand new. If the hard cover does become an issue, the easiest solution I can think of is to cut it off & use one of the interchangeable covers I have! But I will say for sure, it has been an adjustment because it is definitely different than the standard cover.

I heard you mention your Erin Condren planner as well. Why do you choose Plum Paper over Erin Condren for your primary planner? I’ve been with EC since 2013 and the paper is very difficult to give up. However, I don’t care for the direction the company has gone. Help convince me to try Plum Paper!

Hi Katie! I too had used EC since 2017 until this year. I ultimately decided to switch because I wasn’t loving the color palettes they went with in the most recent years & felt like I ‘outgrew’ the brand in some ways! Plum paper has been everything I dreamed off. The planner quality is amazing & I really appreciate the company. I have a video titled the ‘evolution of plum paper’ if you want to learn more about the brand & I have a few videos titles ‘why you should ordered this planner in 2023’ or ‘the best planner’. I would recommend watching those to get an in depth explanation of why I switched & my experience with Plum thus far! I bet you would be convinced after watching those! 🤪💗

@@willowpaperdesign ok - I’ll have to watch those videos today! EC didn’t have a large Simplified teacher planner this year, so we switched the Plum Paper for my husband’s work planner (no neutral option 😢 but he’d agree to try it for a year). Except for the colors - he is loving it.
I didn’t love the EC options this year either, so I redated an old layers one I had (which is lovely). It will last me through June - and I might just switch. Keep up the great content ❤

Another great video ❤. Perhaps you could create a full page “End of Year” thoughts or reflections sticker for the password page. Another idea could be a “monthly memory” sticker to add a monthly highlight…sort of a mini memory compilation of the year on one page for the contacts page.

Oh I love both of those ideas!! I’m going to write them all down & figure this out! This is awesome!
