Ikr?!? When i went on they said it was a little drop, but they don't know what their talking about, that drop was big, and after getting off the ride my hands hurt from holding on to tight and i was limping for about 2 to 3 days.
My dad got me to go on the roller coaster, he told me it was just like escape from pompa but I realized it wasn't after the roller coaster shot of into the cave... Wose time of my life I had a panic attack and I'm pretty sure I died for 20secons⊙︿⊙
I don't see how anyone could think that the Big Bad Wolf was better than this. I liked BBW. It was my first ever roller coaster ride and I was sad to see it go, but let's not lie: It was honestly kind of sucky. It was extremely simple and didn't go very fast at all. On the other hand, I absolutely ADORE Verbolten. I'd pick it over BBW in a heartbeat.
Dude BBW was miles better than this joke. BBW wasn't the fastest or the tallest but it did feel pretty fast and it was a pretty forceful ride when the cars were swinging. What sucks about Verbolten is that there is brakes EVERYWHERE so it always stops and it loses all of its momentum but BBW kept all of its momentum untill the end of the ride.
I Rode the bbw and it was fun. I rode verbolten. Also fun. I wish verbolten didn't replace bbw because it constantly gets compared now. They're both great rides and it's unfortunate that the wolf had to get and that verbolten gets all the hate
My husband and I visited Busch Gardens in April 2014, 20 yrs since the both of us have been. We rode Verbolten, without any idea about the ride. We have never even heard of it. To put it mildly, it was THE BEST roller coaster either of us have ever been on. However, our 10 yr old niece, was terrified lol. We are going back in a few days, and this ride is at the top of our list.
My Family and I went there last year for a few days, and we got on this and the drop inside and the RIDE ITSELF IS THE BEST ONE I HAVE EVER BEEN ON, THE VERBOLTEN ROCKS!!!
I went on this ride yesterday with my sister and my boyfriend. I have to say that this ride was awesome and addicting. I rode it like 3 times and it was so much fun.
I rode this ride without knowing anything about it. Needless to say the drop made me let out a blood curling scream...but I laughed hysterically the rest of the way! Talk about being surprised! LOVE this ride!
I went on this today and it was amazing! Definitely not a wannabe test track. It kind of reminds me of Rock N' Rollercoaster and Thunder Mountain with two amazing drops.
Me and my niece are thrill seekers, we saw a very very long line for it, so we decided to check it out. When we saw it we thought this was a overated corny family roller coaster. Soon as we went through the tunnel nothing but non-stop thrills. This ride was fantastic!
I was so young when I rode this. I was crying when those lights came on in the cave. also when the whole platform drops.. I didn't ride it at Christmas town.
I went on this ride and loved it. when i was on it with my niece we did go upside down i do believe. this was about a month ago. i would love to go back and get on this again. it totally made me forget the big bad wolf was even there, but i will always miss that ride :'( .....lol
When I went this was the only ride I'd go on bc of my motion sickness and I got off begging to go on it again and my mom and brother got off it shaking and screamed "NO" so whatever but I love this ride it's one of my all time favorites
lol i actually met this guy once. i was waiting in line for apollos chariot then it started storming, and they couldnt run it, but we couldnt go out in the rain, so me and him just talked in the station and he showed me his youtube channel. hes a really cool guy!
That little turn out near the lake is a nod to the Big Bad Wolf that was in place of this until about 2009. The Wolf was better to me, but oh well. The Wolves is a nod to it as well,
love this ride went on it yesterday it replaced the big bad wolf with something better no one saw the cave and the sudden speed burst once you enter it was amazing and when we stopped in it we expected to just burst out all of a sudden but they dropped us! love rides like this where you get the thrill and suprise from it worth the 1 hour wait
For those of you who want to use a gopro there, there's a camera policy from Busch gardens website: Camera Policy For safety reasons, picture-taking is not permitted on any ride except the Skyride, Busch Gardens Railroad and Rhine River Cruise. To store such equipment, either return them to your vehicle or use the lockers that are available for a nominal fee. The following conditions must be met for the hands free cameras/camera harnesses to be permitted: Must be secured by a 3 point or more harness, over the riders shoulders and around the torso, that is snapped or buckled closed and cannot be detached by bumping. The camera must be inside a case that snaps closed tightly and the case is securely attached to the harness with a screw type pen or similar device. Similarly, if the camera alone can be directly and securely attached to the harness with a screw type pen or similar device. A Park Operations Manager must approve of the device before it is used.
Tip for those verbolten fans in case you're wondering how these trains get those settings or themes is if you pay attention to the license plate in the back or front of the roller coaster that's how you can tell which trains get one of the three settings.
Verbolten has alternating themes, so you may not get the same theme every time you ride it. There's the "Spirit of the Forest" theme, the "Storm" theme and the "Wolves" theme. The color of the cars don't affect which theme you'll get.
Yes. That last drop on Verbolten is nearly identical to the Big Bad Wolf's drop. This one has lots of twists and turns, and, if you cant tell from the video, a surprise elevator-shaft-type vertical drop (scared the shit out of my sister). Also, they took it down because buying new parts for maintenance was too hard.
I go to Boston all the time! I live like 50 minutes away but I still go there :) I've actually never been to Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard yet... That's kinda sad because I've lived here for almost 14 years and I haven't gone there yet XD The only amusement parks I've been to here is Six Flags and I go there pretty much almost every week in the summer!
That doesn't usually happen. The drop track is also a block brake, so if the train spacing is off, you sometimes have to wait there. Usually, you zip right down the hill and into the second launch. You'll see more videos as the weekend continues.
There are three different sets of effects inside the building. The first one is spirits, the second one is a storm. The one they didn't show was wolf pack.
I dropped my glasses and an earring on the ride. My glasses landed in between my feet so thankfully I didn't lose them, the earring however...I really like this ride but I think Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion, the Harry Potter ride, & the Mummy in Florida will always be my #1s.
I know right?? It serves as a nice tribute to the coaster and if that weren't crazy enough, Verbolten reused the concrete footers from the Wolf on that part believe it or not
I love MA.The only parts I have been in is Boston,Cape Cod,Martha's Vineyard and Springfield.I had cousins in Needham, near Newton. They no longer live there.I see on YT that a few Mass smaller amusement parks have closed.2 were Lincoln Park and the one at Lunneburg.
I am scared to death of coasters but didn't see any huge climb and drop on youtube so I THOUGHT I would be ok.. I cried the entire ride! We have season passes and now that's the only coaster I'll ride since I've already rode it and because I'm still too scared of the others.
this ride is so amazing, it makes you think your driving in the black forest, but I really have to try this ride. If my ponies from mlp ever ride this ride, they might think the black forest is a lot creepy than the everfree forest in Equestria.
I rode this today.. The free fall drop track is genius. Thumbs up! Kings Dominion needs to add this.
Oh my gosh, I loveee it
Rode this at nighttime. It was pretty amazing...
The drop scared the crap out of me when I rode this! You hear the brakes turn on and you're like WTF... WOAH!
Ikr?!? When i went on they said it was a little drop, but they don't know what their talking about, that drop was big, and after getting off the ride my hands hurt from holding on to tight and i was limping for about 2 to 3 days.
+Brillz Sniping me too
Steven Michael I LIKE THAT I LOVE ROLLERCOASTERS
My dad got me to go on the roller coaster, he told me it was just like escape from pompa but I realized it wasn't after the roller coaster shot of into the cave... Wose time of my life I had a panic attack and I'm pretty sure I died for 20secons⊙︿⊙
I rode this at night during Christmas and it was beautiful with all the lights😍
LOOOVE this ride!!! the drop in the tunnel was amazing too
I don't see how anyone could think that the Big Bad Wolf was better than this. I liked BBW. It was Replaced Because arrow Parts are Scarce BBW looked Better Themed
I Rode the bbw and it was fun. I rode verbolten. Also fun. I wish verbolten didn't replace bbw because it constantly gets compared now. They're both great rides and it's unfortunate that the wolf had to get and that verbolten gets all the hate
SoupyChickenDuchess big bad wolf is smoother idiot

could someone please do a "lights on POV" of the indoor section?
the effects on this are amazing
I went on this ride yesterday with my sister and my boyfriend. I have to say that this ride was awesome and addicting. I rode it like 3 times and it was so much fun.
I LOVE THIS RIDE SO MUCH. When I first dropped, it was so quick. The second time I was like "Whens it dropping......." LOL
I want to go to Busch Gardens so bad right now. I haven't been on a roller coaster in moths and it's killing me.
I KNOW RIGHT
im going in 5 days
An amazing ride love the theme and the effects in the black forest and the wolf howling in the background a nice tribute to BBW NICE JOB!!!!!
Escape the Black Forest😰🙈
Nice view of the Rhine River
this is a very creative roller coaster with amazing effects
I'll finally be able to ride this next year during my spring break with my marching band. So excited!
I went in that ride last week . it was SO worth the long wait
My favorite ride there!!!!! Went on it when I visited a few weeks ago... PersonAlly my favorite amusement park ever!!!
I rode this ride without knowing anything about it. Needless to say the drop made me let out a blood curling scream...but I laughed hysterically the rest of the way! Talk about being surprised! LOVE this ride!
I rode this today and the only thing I knew about it was that there was a "surprise". This was the BEST roller coaster!
Fun ride. I went on it twice with my friends this past Saturday actually. Second favorite ride in the park after Apollo's Chariot.
I rode this ride like two months ago and it was freaking awesome!! :D
I continuously are watching videos like this because I'm going to this in a week 😂
I went on this today and it was amazing! Definitely not a wannabe test track. It kind of reminds me of Rock N' Rollercoaster and Thunder Mountain with two amazing drops.
There really is no reason to be scared of the drop. The drop is one of the best parts. I was just there Wednesday. I rode this 3 times in a row!
That tunnel part is awesome. The car train actually "falls" 70 feet to a new track.
I went on this ride and loved it. when i was on it with my niece we did go upside down i do believe. this was about a month ago. i would love to go back and get on this again. it totally made me forget the big bad wolf was even there, but i will always miss that ride :'( .....lol

Cant wait to ride this. I'm going this Thursday
I love this ride. I've been on it. It's _fast_. I love the drop. It's fun.
I liked the ride, so much. The drop really scared me.Such a fantastic roller coaster 😬
0:52 is my favourite part!
The first roller coaster I have ever enjoyed, and I had to be dragged kicking and screaming onto it (because I could hear the terrified screams).
lol i actually met this guy once. i was waiting in line for apollos chariot then it started storming, and they couldnt run it, but we couldnt go out in the rain, so me and him just talked in the station and he showed me his youtube channel. hes a really cool guy!

It is really fun at night😀
I love this ride. It's so awesome. Especially the drop

drop rack almost gave me a heart attack!
My fav ride of the whole park!!!!

I went to the one in Williamsburg and I loved it I went on it twice
That was my first roller coaster ever I was crying omg but it was worth it

you just made my day. funny as hell!
me too... BBW was the first coaster ride for me.
RIP to all the people who got on this thinking it was a kiddie ride
Yee McGee you really think people are gonna think it is a kiddie ride when it goes 0 to 62 in 2.8 seconds
Yep looks are deceiving 😳😂😂😂It's rough on the neck tho😨😔😞
omgg this is like the best ride ever :D
BEST RIDE IN THE PARK HANDS DOWN!
I can't 'see' what's so good about this ride.

That takes skill on Verbolten!
WITHOUT HANDS.
I can't wait to go
I love this ride
AAAAHHHH! i am going in 13 days! it will be awesome!!!
check out the swagness of that car
That doesn't usually happen. The drop track is also a block brake, so if the train spacing is off, you sometimes have to wait there. Usually, you zip right down the hill and into the second launch. You'll see more videos as the weekend continues.
Love this ride!
That drop is 20ft higher than big bad wolf and the dark portion of this ride was alot of fun! not boring at all...
This is the big brother of Thirteen at Alton Towers UK, that ride has also a dark forest theme
Why do you spoil the ride by announcing what's about to happen?
If you don't want the ride to be spoiled, why are you watching a POV of it?
He had to say when the drop was cause it was all in dark and you don’t know what is really going on anyways
This looks fun when your watching this was my first
I rode on the red car and I really like that one!
I love how they left in a similar drop to what big bad wolf had
I know right?? It serves as a nice tribute to the coaster and if that weren't crazy enough, Verbolten reused the concrete footers from the Wolf on that part believe it or not
I like the floor drop because you never expect it

Don't be scared it's a little scary at first but you'll end up loving it!
After being so disoriented by the darkness and my first time being there so far, I didn't feel the drop...
this ride is so amazing, it makes you think your driving in the black forest, but I really have to try this ride. If my ponies from mlp ever ride this ride, they might think the black forest is a lot creepy than the everfree forest in Equestria.
This was so fun I went on the day it opened
IM GOING THERE IN SEPTEMBER ITS GUNA BE AWESOME!!!!!! :-)
