Myrkur is so addicting to listen to, Once you start, It's so hard to pull away. Her voice and the music, sucks you in, and the next thing you know, is that you've listened to her whole Cd!!
I am not here to criticize her accent, I tend to respect someone who'll take the time and learn new languages but ; French is my mother's tongue and when she says 'Je suis votre amour' (I am your love) it definitely sounds like 'Je suis votre mort' (I am your death) : and I love how even more beautifully dark the song gets.

I like to listen to music for inspiration whilst writing and as soon as that beautifully haunting voice started singing...I knew this was the theme song for my villain. He's haunted by his past choices but he cannot change them but he can try to remove the cause from his path.
MYRKUR Corona is music plus its soundtrack is deep, it also reminds me of Maze with Eva. This music makes me feel like I appear out of nowhere and defend and save a woman I love from those who wanted to hurt her.

Glaucus I disagree. To me dire straits brothers in arms is a beautiful song, or black sabbath a national acrobat is a beautiful song. To call everyone who disagrees with you mindless just show what a bozo you are. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder someone once said. To me it's not black metal, it's folkish/pagan metal with some tremolo picking sections here and there. And I see now days that everyone who disagrees with all the lunatics who like the new direction of some BM bands like (deafheaven, liturgy, gayhl wyrd, alcest etc) is labeled mindless, stuck in the 90s, or not understanding this direction. I totally understand the direction, some failed punk, pop, alternative rock bands dropped their failed attempts to pick up shoegaze/BM/post rock, mix it together and sell it to today's progressive, "modern", "depressed" emos and make some cash. Black metal was formed to oppose that in the first place. And I'm not stuck in the 90, theres plenty of new BM I love. Too me BM has to be crazy fast and vicious a'la natens madrigal, to you BM needs to have slow sections, plenty of keyboards and sunny and dream like atmosphere with angel singing love songs to you ears. I respect that, I like songs like that too classic rock, classical operas, some funk and early disco have that., but not my BM songs, my BM needs to be harsh. The harsher the better, and I'm proud that not everyone likes transylvanian hunger, freaking hate on it all you want. It makes it even better to be part of selected few that get it.
