I wish I had some secrets. I don't deal with slugs or snails. Knock on wood. I dont treat at all, unless with things like neem oil, which I need to do for the leaf minor on the hollyhocks 😩
That labyrinth Dalia is the showstopper, this is gorgeous !!! The barberry added a great textural touch. And I'm not big on red, yellow, orange either but apricot strawflower is one of my favorite flowers. That and ranunculus. But I am not good at growing anything from seed 😭. Pastel oranges or creamy blends of orange and yellow are beautiful. You have a great eye for floral design.
I make bouquets for my friends for their birthdays and special occasions! The dahlias last about 4-5 days. Not the longest lasting but certainly pretty!
We actually havent done much inside since we have been doing so much outside. We hit a little wall with reno dust and things like that and needed a break. We have to dos on our list they are are wanting to get done pretty soon! We are about to get a new roof which was somewhat of an unexpected project after a hail storm. That should get done next week and then we can knock that off out list!

Perhaps you could find a lazy Susan to turn your arrangement to make it easier to create.

I love ranunculus, too. It reminds me of a rose that has taken on a Victorian era appearance, if that makes sense. Their color is gorgeous.
@@angelaolive147 I have no luck with them at all. Finally got a bunch up from seed and powdery mildew got them.
