Edit: Seeing them get lost in breaking things like a kid finding a new hobby is great. As a person with ADHD, I remember being that unsupervised kid, hilarious stuff to anybody who wasn't in the family. My uncle used to give me stuff to break behind my mom's back and would give me a dollar if I could break it a certain way. Might just be my only good memory involving my mother.

(I should say not always) BUT if it does, IT SHATTERS INTO THE TINIEST SHARDS!! THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE A$$ TO CLEAN UP (I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW BAD THIS WOULD BE ON CARPET). My daughter dropped a bowl on our patio and it shattered. THREE WEEKS later her sister got a leftover piece in her foot. It was almost impossible to get out. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! I will add, that this did not stop us from using Corelle. It lasts forever and 99 times out of 100 if you drop it on the floor it will not break.
Oh my goodness! I bought Corelle dishes from the department store Ames about 30yrs ago. I still have it! We've moved several times with it..dropped it..everything under the sun you can think of..it's even microwaveable and it's still in great condition. Not even one scratch!
It lasts forever! My husband's mom and my mom had the same Correlle dishes and they lasted our whole childhood and are now in our cabinets! They're heirloom dishes...like Tupperware! 😂😂😂
