    It takes a disproportionate amount of energy moving someone closer to the pin, let alone in a literal pin position! One could argue there were 2 rounds worth of energy in round 1, plus another 2-3 in round 2, so Mairov was robbed of MANY rounds, not just round 2.

    • @TimothyJ.Lochhead
      @TimothyJ.Lochhead 2 дня назад +4

      @@cratos900 I agree that was hard on Samushia (and am a fan of him), but the point is finishing someone can be way harder, and the main issue of how much gas that burns. Plus different pullers are better or worse from different positions.
      Regardless, think of different aspects of physical qualities, and the endurance-horse power continuum. If a guy has more horse-power or diesel and less relative endurance - yes that his is decision. But if he gets a pin and it doesn't count, for that individual it matters a lot. For Samushia it doesn't matter how much he expended because his tank is so large (and thus why the refs missing and not calling costed Mairov relatively way more, and appeared to favour Samushia and his strengths).

    Honestly after this EvW, I’ve decided not to purchase any PPV from now on until some things change. It’s the 15th edition and there are still so many issues with the audio, wrong camera angles which are crucial to confirm pins in the replay, long pauses and just a feeling of lack of organisation in terms of production and the cherry on top is poor refereeing and just a better system for proving elbow fouls and pins…
    It’s not enough to set good matches, it’s important that the quality of the production and refereeing improves if this sport ever wants to reach mainstream levels and be taken seriously especially since the price keeps increasing….24€ for this garbage…please.

How is he only 49 but looks like he's 70+? Extremely shady and suspicious character. I have only seen devon praising him for organizing events but why rig them? The way he treated devon in the morozov afterpull was also very shitty. Please devon if you are seeing this, distance yourself from that guy, you have enough popularity and pull to either organize something yourself, or to get some people involved. This is really not a good look what happened in the match. Your honor, dignity and morals matter more than a little bit of money. Engin should fire those refs, if he does not fire them it is very clear. Vladimir should sue them for this blatant cheating. Imagine in the future some big million dollar match, just imagine this happened, totally unacceptable. The locations of these events need to be investigated also. If he had exhausted himself after the second round, he would not have been able to put up such resistance in the last round. Apparently, in the end, he decided to try to do at least something, but he was immediately pelted with fouls. Vladimir was absolutely robbed. He practically smashed David into a pad from the start, he was simply not allowed to realize his potential in any way. We, as spectators, were deprived of a tense match, which could potentially become an incredibly colorful tenth defense of the belt, or the appearance of a new champion.
