Wanted to pick your brain for a moment, I followed your post over on SnoWest to this video...noticed you mentioned you wondered how this would handle in a 146" shortened RMK chassis. So here's my question(s)…..Is there enough difference in handling to justify the KHAOS over say an 2017 Pro? Do you think it would still be more fun to have a 146"? I'm torn between building a custom 146" RMK out of a axys Pro RMK (Shortened tunnel, Ice Age rails, 37" front end, etc) or snowchecking a KHAOS. I'm on a SKS 146 right now, and really don't want to lose too much of the playability factor as I mainly ride in tight trees and powerlines.
Yes id say that. With the khaos you get more funfactor due to a more powerfull engine aswell. I have a friend that has a -19's Pro Rmk 850 that is shortened to 146" (iceage rails, camso challenger track etc). And for me id choose the khaos over the 146 model. Kinda gives you the best of both worlds to be honest for us flatlanders :)
Id say the pro would be easier for someone with a less aggressive riding style. So for your wife, the more stable and easier to predict Pro would be more suited. But then again i dont know your wife... She maybe is into jumping, whips and big drops and is one hell of a rider :)
I mean because it sounds like the Khaos is an easier sled to ride, yes? I have the 18Pro 155/3in now. But want a 163 1.6in next. Back to the belt drive. We ride here in Idaho in steep and deep terrain.
@@johnnyboymc6607 Id say so yes. You have to be more active as a rider with a sled that is lighter on its skis. It kinda goes both ways you know. It might be easier to manouver it when riding at casual speed and moderate terrain. But when you turn everything up a notch you might have to "fight" the sled to hold down the nose etc. You will get up in the same steep terrain as the Pro RMK. But you maybe have to do more manouvers to get up there! But then again. You cant go wrong with any of the sleds! Awesome snow machines

Den håller skidorna några cm högre än pro rmkn. Den är också känsligare på viktförflyttning. Känns att centerdämparen spelar en stor roll i hur balansen blir på skotern. Den är väldigt lekfull men tar sig ändå bra. De är ingen herrejösses skillnad om jag säger så... Skulle säga att det blir snudd som att köra en 146" fast med fördelen av 155" mattlängd. Dämparna var också riktigt bra!
@@AlphaPenguinZ feels like they will shaft their whole sport segment and arctic cat takes over that. AC have started to back down their touring/workhorse segment here in Scandinavia.
Where you place your center of gravity(body mass) is more notable on the Khaos then the Pro Rmk. It still climbs very good. But its more aggressive in how it shifts it point of balance. Thus it makes it slightly more nimble and agile.

pro tip: you can watch series at Flixzone. Been using it for watching loads of movies these days.

Hey! I used a Gopro Hero 7 Black during that. It has a built in stabilisation. Plus i have it mounted under the visor of my helmet.

@@inzani13 Ok, sålde precis min SKS och skaffade en cross inför sommaren. Så det blir väl till och skaffa nått annat till nästa vinter.
