Keep making toy room halls. They’re awesome thank you. And and I get a Lotta good ideas for my kids play them so thanks. And l love your videos keep making videos please thank you 🙏 😂😅🎉
Great job. You are very smart to have done this. As the mom of 4 grown children, I can tell you that the less they have access to the better they play with what they have. I love toy rotation. While there was always a reading and puzzle nook, I used to make centers for my children - small tables and they would move their chairs to each. Each station was a different activity (and I would change them up using toy rotation every month). The arts and crafts station would change into the playdough station - the Lego station became the Knex, the kitchen would become the grocery store/restaurant/vet. The hot wheel car station became the Thomas Train station, etc. Since I had 4 children, I had 5 stations. I'd keep the things we were not using in containers in a large closet. At night we would clean up the stations (I'd supervise until they could do it on their own). All pieces went into a plastic container that was kept under the table of each station. It would take 20 minutes to put the room back to start. Eventually, the kitchen station became my daughter's schoolhouse and remained that way for many years because she loved it so much. When she started to play with 18" dolls and Barbies, we made them each a house inside deep bookcases. In the case of the barbies, it proved to be much stronger than those you can buy (and it cost a lot less too). There are many free web pages that show you how to create and download free things for the dolls. There are several for boys - like creating different train and hot wheel tracks. I truly miss the toy days but having a system in place made those days a lot less stressful!!!
OMG! You just gave me so many ideas! I just love these stations! That is the part that I didn't have quite organized since I didn't know how, honestly. I just put puzzles/ crafts wherever and now I think I need to get them a station or two. I also LOVE the idea of bookshelf as dollhouse! How very smart!! Rotation was a game-changer! I just get a little behind sometimes on changing the rotation. Thank you so much for such a helpful comment !!
Also, forgot to mention, that I think its genius to have kitchen become vet / restaurant, etc!! Not so sure what you mean by free webpages thou? for train and wheel tracks?
Yup! Looks like my home! It’s especially hard with a toddler that still likes baby toys & older kids that had toys that toddlers can’t play with. I’m hoping a system like this will help us. We don’t buy books anymore, just go to the library and check out a few at a time.. and that’s an adventure for my boys for the day.
When I first came across this video was like 30 seconds ago when I saw the thumbnail I was like holy s*** that's a lot of toys but now after 30 seconds I found this video very interesting and yeah
Saludos cordiales y bendiciones
