Plini is just a laid-back, low-key kind of guy. If he were to put on some high-energy performance, yelling and jumping around the stage, it would just come off as forced. That's not who he is, and there's nothing wrong with it.
Is this location in Hong Kong perhaps? Was the beginning synth played on a guitar - via MIDI or just some advanced plugin that uses audio for synth triggering? This was amazing!
Man? I love your music. Laid back. Then Ass Kickin. What I love the most. You have a little bit of all the guitar players I love in You. Its so fkn cool. Keep up the good work my brother.
Plini would you consider making a song where you leave sections open for other guitarists to collaborate with you? It would be great exposure and a ton of fun for your fans.
I don’t think Benny is actually playing. I think it’s just his plug-in sounds. This would be an incredible collab, but I think it’s more a get good plug than a collab
My god Paul Rudd is good at guitar. I also don't care what you say. I've already written the fan fiction of Paul Rudd secretly being a guitar virtuoso and I've commited it to my reality. What's done is done. Ant Man shreds
@@fantasticnisopta It's true that it's all prog, but prog is such a catch-all you're better using subgenres. I'd put AAL as djent, Polyphia as prog metal/rock, and Plini as jazz fusion. They're all similar, but different at the same time.
Brilliant as ever, but those drums need to chill out a bit and leave some space for another instrument. Dont want to listen to that again, unless there is a version where you can actually hear the guitar properly....
**Please don't judge me on this comment lol* Plini is a Guitar GOD! like the Avatar of Guitar and we need him to save the world from the evils of trendy pop culture by showing us great music still exists! 🤘 Man I almost peed myself on that break at 1:10! 😬😂🤣😂🤣 Jk..
@@atacimic I`m pretty sure it`s the recording process and it`s a pity because the sound that Benny makes in reality, if you sit next to his drums is tremendous and anything but this. Also, that 13" Sonor snare is a shotgun.
@@bishopoftroy I could see that. I think this kit is probably amazing when layered under an electronic kit/track. The more nuanced lower velocity hits sound warm and organic, but that snare has an oddly artificial stacked sound with high velocity strikes.
Just like every other "playthrough" nowadays. Not too long ago, artists' careers were dashed on the rocks for lip-syncing. Plus, they spelled "money grab" incorrectly.
Are you one of those people who thinks that only the "starving artist" has artistic integrity? We should be glad that geniuses like Plini are able to create music full-time. Hardly anyone actually buys albums nowadays, and ticket/merch sales are often only enough to cover the expenses of touring. Plini is an indie artist, so forget about any financial support from a record label. The sad fact is, he and his crew are largely dependent on sponsorships to pay the bills, and they aren't exactly living in mansions and driving Bugattis like some pilled-out SoundCloud rappers. As long as they keep making music that is true to their vision, then I don't see the problem. You'd have to have a massive sense of entitlement to complain about an artist getting paid if you just listen to their music for free on RUclips/Spotify.
@@briancrumpacker What is wrong with pantomiming in a music video? The point of a music video is to add a visual element to an already mixed and produced song. It's not like he's pantomiming during live performances like Milli Vanilli. Are you suggesting that he isn't actually playing guitar during his concerts, or are you expecting his music videos to consist entirely of footage from the studio recording? I don't really understand what you're taking issue with.
@@briancrumpacker And what's up with the "money grab" comment? Do you want the man to get sponsorships or not? He's still playing guitar lines that he wrote himself.
Plini really made an effort for this video, normally he's just either lying in bed or sitting on the couch. Joking aside, amazing as ever.
I love how this is an insult and a compliment at the same time.

Benny is such a great drummer.
You're not wrong. But this video is MIDI drums lol

Your da Best Plini,I'll Nebbuh Fuhget meeting ya!Take care always and fans!Jcsx
As far as I'm concerned, Plini and Benny Greb are a dream come true.
The collab which we didn't expect but the one which we needed . Been listening to Benny Greb from 2018 and Plini 2020💚💚
I know this is an ad for drum software, but it was the best kind of ad.
Also, the stacked rocks on the shore was a nice touch! 😆
Simple but awesome 🍻🍻🍻
Much love for Benny and for Plini. Great vid
Beautiful water and playing dude! Fuck I hope this will be on the new album!!!
Never losing the prog vibes 🤘
that rock waited there for millenia for plini to shred guitar on it
Casual hiking to the waterfall and playing music. Love it.
Hey plini You should play with the actual Benny Greb instead of a programmed drum part made using his kit samples 😂
This is amazing! The synth kept tripping me out though, I thought I had another tab of “human music doot doot” playing lol
Ok, I adore your music, but I must know where you got the blue jacket?!?!?!
Hell yes, two amazing artists doing a collaboration no one saw coming.
Sort of. I'd like to see what Benny might actually play.
Euy asa gemukan euy maneh plin
Plini is always so Plini. Incredible!!! 👌🏻
Your music brings me joy, and to many as well 🙏Shigima, my Doge.
Dat ending is gorgeous!
Very relatable. I too often sit near a waterfall playing my electric guitar! It's great, you don't even have to plug it in or anything!

Absolutely a place to spend a day! The guitar was nice too.

such a gentle and roomy Snare, but it doesnt sound weak at all. Nice Mix

Plini not using his own Archetype for once
@Undercoverbus yeah but I remember seeing he used Archetype Rabea for the opening synth
@@geordihills yea definitely archetype bea
Hey Plini, come to the Midwest US, please.
Whoa dude. Like, really slick
Props to whoever made the stack of rocks in the background
WAAAAAAAAAA, tone in the intro sounded like Archeype Rabea
Sounds quite nice. Enjoyed!
Here we go 🎸
Is synthy riff at the start actually played on guitar? And if so can you share the neural dsp patch? (:
If it is, it's likely using Neural DSP Archetype Rabea
It is yeah, it's using archetype rabea he made a post writing the intro recently
